Stow on the Wold is a former wool town and one of the most renowned towns in the Cotswolds, of-fering a wide selection of excellent shops, including a large supermarket, pubs and restaurants. Nearby is Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and more comprehensive facilities can be found in Cheltenham, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and Banbury. Connections by road and rail are excellent. Kingham mainline railway station, about six miles, offers a fast, direct service to London Paddington with a journey time of about seventy five minutes. The A40 provides access to Oxford, the M40 to London and the national motorway network. The town is well situated to provide good access via road and rail to Birmingham to the North and to London to the South. Local sporting facilities in the area are excellent.
