Description

Occupying one of the most desirable positions within Templemere, this beautifully light four bedroom home sits at the end of a quiet crescent in this award winning Oatlands Village development. Linked on one side only, it enjoys exceptional privacy, wonderful natural light and the signature mid century aesthetic that makes Span homes so sought after.
Set within a peaceful private estate of just 65 properties, Templemere is arranged across 12 acres of landscaped gardens and protected woodland, forming a designated conservation area. The grounds sweep down towards Broadwater Lake, creating a serene backdrop of water and woodland that residents enjoy year round.
Designed by renowned architect Eric Lyons for Span Developments, the houses are celebrated for their timeless modernist design-expansive glazing, clean lines and an effortless connection between indoors and outdoors. This particular home retains much of its original character and occupies one of the development's prime positions, with a wider than average rear garden and immediate access to the woodland.
Accommodation....
The ground floor is arranged to maximise light and flow. An entrance hall leads to a roof lit guest WC, followed by a kitchen/breakfast room with direct views and access to the rear garden. The main living space is wonderfully bright, opening through sliding doors into the dining room, which in turn connects to a versatile study/family room-each space enjoying garden outlooks and access.
Upstairs, there are four well proportioned bedrooms, all benefitting from leafy views across the gardens and woodland. A family bathroom and separate WC complete the first floor.
Outside & Additional Features...
A rare advantage within Templemere, this home offers a double garage along with a wider than average rear garden, featuring a patio, mature planting, side access and direct entry into the garage. Guest parking is conveniently located nearby.
Location.....
Weybridge provides an excellent selection of boutique shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, along with highly regarded schools and a mainline station offering fast services into London.
The property is offered to the market with no onward chain, providing a straightforward and appealing opportunity for buyers.

Our Vendor Says.....
My husband was in the design industry and he found Eric Lyons's design of these houses irresistible. We bought number 27 off plan, picked what we thought was the best plot, and watched it being built. By the time we moved in, in 1963, our girls were three and four, and we had already made lifelong friends of the neighbours. My husband worked partly in London and partly at home, and the extra reception room became his study where you would still find him long after he retired. My daughters grew up playing safely in the grounds and the woods down to the lake. Bonfire Nights were unforgettable: a huge fire, fireworks over the water, jacket potatoes and sausages, and everyone in Templemere chipping in to make it a success. The community is as strong today. I'm nearly 97 now and it's time to leave my dear house, still full of happy memories. I hope whoever comes next will love it as much as I have and build their own memories here along the way.

The legal bit....... Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible with all descriptions, distances and floor plans, these are all approximate and purchasers must make a full inspection of the property / surrounding area and undertake as much due diligence as they require. Catchment areas of schools should also be checked before making any commitment to purchase.
