LOCATION & SITUATION
The Coed enjoys an excellent location and situation in a slightly elevated position within the beautiful Llanthony Valley with views of the valley and the hamlet of Cwmyoy. Cwmyoy is a small hamlet in Monmouthshire, known for its distinctive, crooked St Martin’s Church. The village is located in the Vale of Ewyas, within the Black Mountains, and the name “Cwmyoy” translates to “valley of the yoke” in Welsh, referring to the shape of the surrounding hills.
