THE PROPERTY
Nestled into the hillside on the edge of a sought after village, this beautiful family home looks out across rolling hills and unspoilt rural views

ACCOMMODATION
Life here revolves around the magnificent sitting and dining room. At its heart is a welcoming fireplace complete with a woodburning stove, ideal for chilly country evenings. To one side, there is plenty of space for a large dining table, with quality wood-effect flooring stretching across the entire room. The garden room is the natural hub for daytime relaxing, bathed in light and offering panoramic views of the changing seasons. Nearby, the kitchen is thoughtfully fitted with an abundance of classic floor and wall cupboards, finished with timeless stone worktops. It comes fully equipped for family cooking, featuring a five-ring gas hob, an electric oven, a fridge, and an integrated dishwasher.
The ground floor offers wonderful flexibility. To one side lies a peaceful guest suite, complete with its own private en suite bathroom. There is also a study, a separate home office, a cloakroom, and an exceptionally large utility room, an absolute essential for muddy boots and country living. From here, a doorway leads straight through into the integral, double-length garage.
Heading upstairs, you will find three more lovely bedrooms. The principal bedroom serves as a relaxing retreat, featuring two sets of built-in double wardrobes and its own en suite shower room. The remaining two bedrooms share a spacious family bathroom. The house is fully double-glazed and kept warm by oil-fired central heating, beautifully supplemented by the wood burner and solar energy. Alongside a mains water connection, the property also benefits from its own private water supply.

OUTSIDE
The property is approached from the village lane via a driveway finished in tarmac and stone setts, providing ample parking and turning space for several vehicles.
The gardens are arranged in three distinct areas. The formal garden extends south and west into the valley and is laid mainly to lawn, framed by well-stocked herbaceous borders, shrubs and mature trees. Below the formal garden lies a meadow, enclosed by mature hedging and dotted with trees, with the village stream running along its lower boundary.
The third area lies beside the house and is arranged as a productive vegetable garden. It includes a large greenhouse and a garden shed, offering useful storage for garden machinery and tools.
