5 NORTHBANK,
WOOKEY HOLE, WELLS, SOMERSET, BA5 1BX
Wells 2miles, Wedmore and Cheddar 9miles, Bristol Airport 16miles, Bristol and Bath 21 miles.

Guide Price Range £350,000 to £400,000

The house offers a fabulous kitchen/breakfast room, sitting room, 2 bedrooms (the loft room could easily be divided to create a 3rd bedroom) and a family bathroom.

Outside there is a rear garden and to the front, shared parking and 2 stone storage buildings.

Location
Northbank occupies a particularly appealing position on the hillside above Wookey Hole. It is a small, established, group of traditional houses and cottages, well away from the bustle of the main village and with a distinctly rural atmosphere. The elevated setting gives the properties a strong connection with the surrounding countryside, whilst Wells remains only a few minutes away.

The setting is perhaps Northbank's greatest asset. Footpaths are immediately accessible and lead out into the glorious Mendip countryside, making this an ideal location for walkers, dog owners and anybody who simply enjoys having open country on the doorstep.

It is a rather special combination – a quiet, tucked-away position with countryside immediately at hand, yet with the facilities of Wookey Hole below and the centre of Wells only 2 miles away. For those wanting the character and tranquillity of a Mendip village without feeling isolated, Northbank is an exceptionally appealing spot.

The village is perhaps best known for its famous limestone caverns, but away from the visitor attraction it has a strong sense of community, with a church, popular pub, village club and cricket club.

About the Area
Wookey Hole is a particularly attractive and popular Mendip village, lying just a couple of miles from the Cathedral City of Wells and enjoying a wonderful position at the foot of the Mendip Hills.
The village is perhaps best known for its famous limestone caverns, but away from the visitor attraction it has a very pleasant and established community, with a church, popular pub, village club and cricket club. The surrounding countryside is exceptional and is undoubtedly one of the great attractions of living here. A myriad of footpaths and bridleways cross the landscape, with excellent walking towards Ebbor Gorge, Deer Leap and across the Mendips.
Wells is within very easy reach and provides practically all everyday needs, with an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants and cafes, supermarkets, twice-weekly market, leisure facilities and, of course, the Cathedral and Bishop's Palace. There is also an excellent choice of schools in the wider area, including Wells Cathedral School, Millfield, Downside and All Hallows.
