Description
The property itself provides nicely proportioned and well balanced living accommodation with the front door opening into the entrance hall where stairs rise to the first floor and doors lead off to all principal rooms. The main living room sits at the back of the house and combines space for sitting and dining areas with two windows to the side and glazed double doors opening to the rear garden, all of which draw in good amounts of natural light. The kitchen looks out to the front and is well equipped with a range of coloured storage cupboards complemented by contrasting light-oak finish worktops with a built-in electric oven and gas hob with extractor fan over. The utility room, formerly part of the garage, contains further appliance space, worktop, sink and part-glazed door to outside. This space also contains a ground floor cloakroom with low level WC.
Upstairs, the first floor landing leads to 4 bedrooms; the master with its own en suite shower room which is in addition to the main family bathroom.
EXTERNALLY, gardens extend to the rear of the property to a depth of about 64ft laid out mainly to lawn with a large gravelled patio area which extends to a border to one side. There are raised planters for vegetables/shrubs, space for a greenhouse and all enclosed by fencing/original brick and flint wall to one side. There is a pathway to the side which gives access to the street. To the front are shrubs set within a shallow flowerbed and double timber doors which open into part of the former garage which now provides useful storage space.
