Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in Chinatown means there’s plenty of restaurants and cafes which means you will never be bored of all the options available because there is so many. Transport links are great as you’re nearby the 45.47, 35, 16 and 80 bus routes as well as others which all take you to different areas. New street station is also a 7-10 minute walk which is a highlight and has been really helpful during my time at the forum. The only downsides are when big events happen there can be a lot of traffic.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been helpful but there have been some maintenance requests that were not responded to.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would have been helpful to know about the building works that would be going on and the professional end of tenancy cleaning fees (as outlined in the contract).

    Sept 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

In terms of transportation, there are bus lines nearby that go directly to the city center, making commuting quite convenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The property management team is very responsible and efficient. They have developed a dedicated mobile app for easy repair reporting or inquiries, and the staff are very careful in handling packages and letters.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more clearly about the property's orientation and lighting changes before moving in. Although the natural light looked good during the viewing, after actually moving in, I found that the angle and duration of sunlight vary much more than expected across seasons, and the master bedroom receives less direct sunlight in winter. If I had known these details in advance, we would have been more targeted when choosing a specific apartment unit.

    Sept 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area where I live is extremely convenient, with multiple supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance, offering a wide range of options for daily shopping and leisure.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The property management team is extremely responsive, professional, and friendly. Whenever we raise any questions or maintenance requests, they always respond promptly and arrange for staff to follow up and resolve them efficiently, which gives us great peace of mind.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

l I wish I had known more details about the room's exact orientation and natural lighting conditions before moving in. Although it looked fine during the viewing, after actually moving in I found that some rooms get less direct sunlight in certain seasons than expected. It would have been better to understand the sun's trajectory beforehand.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good: China town, bullring, grand central are all nearby. Loads of good restaurants to choose from Bad: Cars can be a bit loud, the higher you are the less you hear them

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond quickly and when something is broken maintenance usually fixes it quickly. If it's any other issues, regarding facilities or the constructions, then things can take months.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Management overpromises and under delivers. They promised us that the scaffolding would be removed before we moved in, 2 years later we still have scaffolding outside our windows and whenever we ask when it will be removed, they keep promising dates that just keep moving. If they were honest from the start, I would not be as mad or disappointed, but at this point they keep giving us false hope.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location with access to restaurants and train station. The accommodation has common areas with a gym which is a great bonus.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes responded to problems in a timely manner and resolved the issue,

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Would have been good to know about that the internet provider cannot be chosen by us
