5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
A lovely community and attractive place to live.. commute to A1 couldn’t be easier! A few nice coffee shops and a lovely bar in the area with a good sized Coop on site too. Haven’t experienced any issues with any aspect of living in The Hawkings. Lynn on the property management side has been very helpful.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Lynn has been great.. very helpful. Resolved an initial issue very quickly for me too
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There is digging early as it’s an active site but this didn’t really bother me!

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Overall, we really enjoy living in the local area. There are some good local shops and restaurants, and the streets are generally very clean and well maintained, with very little rubbish around. The neighbours are respectful and considerate, which makes it a pleasant place to live. There are plenty of nice open spaces and things to do with the family, as well as plenty of opportunities for taking the dogs out for walks. We also find the area to be very peaceful, with no noticeable traffic noise or anti-social behaviour, and overall it feels like a very safe and pleasant place to live. The main downside is that there isn’t a large local supermarket, so for a bigger food shop we have to travel into Rugby, which can be inconvenient at times. Other than that, we have found the area to be a very nice place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has always responded quickly and professionally to any problems or issues we have raised. They are approachable, helpful and take concerns seriously, with maintenance requests generally dealt with within 24 hours of being reported. Whenever contractors attend the property, they are respectful and considerate. They take their shoes off before entering, carry out the work efficiently and always leave the house clean and tidy once the work has been completed. Overall, we have been very impressed with the level of service and care provided.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in was that the property would already have electric car charging points installed and ready to use, which has been a great feature and very convenient. The one thing I would have liked to have known, or seen included, is an outdoor electrical socket. Having an external plug would be really useful for things such as garden equipment, cleaning the car or other outdoor jobs.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in the Whitehouse area of Milton Keynes offers a great balance of modern convenience and access to nature. On the positive side, the neighbourhood is highly family-friendly with excellent local schools, including Whitehouse Primary and Watling Academy, all within walking distance. It is well-connected, making it easy to reach the city centre, and there are plenty of green spaces and parks nearby. However, there are some downsides to consider. As a relatively new and growing development, ongoing construction can be a nuisance, bringing with it noise and dust. Some residents also feel the area currently lacks a distinct character or a vibrant local high street, meaning you often have to travel into central Milton Keynes for more varied dining and entertainment options.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Not had any issues so far and didn't have any experience to share.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish all the new builds be requested with Bins already requested along with the valuation for the property.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very professional and quickly sorted out the Problem of the front door lock not working properly and no plugs in the kitchen sinks to which Lynn and her team sorted out right away

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
New development so amazing in terms of park, parking. But bins are getting delayed to be delivered and likewise streetlights are not working yet which is not yet under council.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Overall, the building management team has been responsive and professional when issues have been reported. Several matters that I raised during and after moving into the property were acknowledged promptly, and support was provided to help resolve them. Communication has generally been good, and I have found the team willing to assist where needed. However, some issues have taken longer to resolve than others. For example, the street lighting within the development has remained an ongoing concern, and while the matter has been reported and investigated, a resolution has not yet been implemented. As with any new development, there are naturally a few teething issues, but I appreciate the efforts made by the management team to address concerns and keep residents informed. Overall, my experience has been positive, and I am hopeful that the remaining outstanding issues will be resolved in due course.
