Harlton is an unspoilt village located a little over 8 miles from the city which is accessible via the A603 or through the villages of Haslingfield and Barton. There is some local shopping in Haslingfield and additional facilities in nearby Comberton. Comprehensive shopping, recreational and cultural facilities are available in Cambridge City with its combination of ancient and modern buildings, winding lanes, excellent choice of schools and wide range of amenities.
For the commuter the A603 leads to the M11 and to the west via the A1198 to Royston and the A505. The A1 is approximately 20 miles to the west and there are regular train services available from Cambridge and Royston Stations with direct links to London.
Local schooling is available nearby including primary schools at Haslingfield and Barrington. The village also falls into Comberton Village College catchment which has a sixth form and also feeds into Hills & Long Road sixth form colleges in Cambridge.
