Description
We moved here as a family and have really loved how peaceful and tucked away the house feels. Being in a quiet cul-de-sac has been lovely, particularly with children, while still having everything we need within easy reach.
The house itself has always felt bright and welcoming. The through lounge and dining space gets lots of natural light and has worked really well for us as a family, whether it’s everyday life or having friends and family over.
The garden has been another big part of the home for us. There’s plenty of space to enjoy outside and it feels private, which we’ve really appreciated over the years.
The location has also made family life incredibly convenient. Being able to walk to both Aldryngton Primary and Maiden Erlegh has been a real benefit, and having Earley station within walking distance makes getting into Reading and further afield straightforward.
There’s also still plenty of potential for the next owners to make the house their own, including the possibility of converting the loft, subject to the usual permissions. We hope another family will enjoy living here as much as we have.
ALEX'S TAKE
This is a real opportunity to shape the house in the ideal spot. Moor Copse Close is a small, quiet cul-de-sac, so you get the convenience of the area while still feeling tucked away from the busier roads around it. This 3 bed semi-detached home is offered with no onward chain.
The accommodation includes a bright through lounge and dining room, providing a flexible family living and entertaining space. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs - 2 doubles and a single - together with the family bathroom, while the refitted WC is positioned downstairs.
The property is in need of updating, giving the next owner the chance to choose their own finishes and make the house their own. There is also potential to explore a loft conversion, subject to the necessary permissions and approvals.
Outside, the north-facing rear garden offers enough space to for the kids to let off some steam. To the front and side, the driveway provides parking for approximately 3 cars and leads down towards a detached garage positioned to the rear.
For families in particular, the location is a real strength. Aldryngton Primary School and Maiden Erlegh School are within walking distance, while Earley station provides convenient rail connections towards Reading.
With scope to modernise, this home in Moor Copse Close is a well-positioned home for buyers looking for a property they can improve over time in the ideal spot.
