Description

A superbly positioned and charming 3 bedroom semi detached cottage positioned on an almost 0.5 acre plot in The New Forest. No chain!

Valley Cottage is a charming late Victorian red brick cottage with a slate roof located in the ever popular village of Redlynch. The property is positioned on a plot of almost 0.5 acres and as such offers buyers an opportunity  to extend and improve the property (subject to necessary consents). The property was extended in 2012 and now comprises a 3 bedroom property of 1,100 square feet and benefits from no forward chain. The front door enters into the most recently built section of the property, this room is a spacious reception room and leads into the dining room which has a large fireplace (not currently in use). The kitchen has a selection of built in cupboards, a stainless steel sink and electric oven. There is a small lean-to leading from the kitchen which in turn provides access onto the garden. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, two of them doubles and a single. There is also a family bathroom. The property would benefit from cosmetic updating, but has been lived in very recently.

Externally the property has a large front garden predominately put to lawn with a gravel drive which sweeps past the property where there is a wooden garage in disrepair. The rear garden is the key selling feature for the property due to is size and its wonderful views over adjoining pasture land. The rear garden is mainly lawn but there is also a wooded area with further out buildings which are again in disrepair.
