Description

A spacious extended three bedroom detached coastal bungalow ideally located in a sunny and relatively sheltered cul-de-sac location within walking distance of Porthtowan surfing beach. Generous corner plot position, garage, sunny gardens and driveway parking.

Why You'll Like It - This three bedroom detached bungalow has been greatly extended over time adding to the flexibility and making the property equally suitable for downsizing individuals and couples or indeed growing families. The property occupies a corner plot in a cul-de-sac position and is positioned 'behind' the cliffs with a Southerly aspect giving good sunshine and shelter from Atlantic breeze. From the property you can walk to join the Southwest Coast Path and down to Porthtowan Beach where locals and visitors love to watch the sunset into the sea. The property has the majority of its garden to the front and there's a handy entrance porch opening to the hallway. The living room is generous and the kitchen / dining room was extended and refitted to create a great family space. There's also a separate utility room where the oil fired boiler is located. The property has three bedrooms and bedroom one has an en-suite shower room and dressing room and bedroom two is a large double with dressing room / study. The family bathroom has been refitted and has a shower over the bath. Outside to the rear there's a suntrap courtyard with hot and cold taps (ideal for sandy feet or paws after fun at the beach) and a further area of garden also to the rear. The driveway can accommodate two vehicles and there is a garage with electric door also.

Where It Is - Porthtowan on the north Cornish coast is a fantastic beach for surfing which expands greatly as the tide ebbs to reveal beautiful golden sands to the left and right of the main beach.
The centre of the village is located in the valley just back from the beach where there is a village shop and post office along with a village hall and pre-school, fish and chip take away, beach café & Beach bar (the famous Blue Bar which is arguably one of the best places to enjoy the setting sun). Further village facilities including primary schools are found in nearby Mount Hawke and St. Agnes. The Southwest Coast Path passes through the village with Portreath in one direction and St.Agnes in the other. A wonderful coastal location within easy travelling distance of Truro and the main A30.

Services And Tenure - The property is freehold and has mains water, mains drainage, mains electricity and oil fired central heating.

In an industry increasingly reliant on automated systems and unanswered calls, we pride ourselves on being accessible, accountable and proactive.
