Description

A beautifully renovated two double bedroom middle terrace cottage with sunny rear garden, brand new kitchen & carpets and residents permit parking scheme. Ideally situated between the city centre and the train station and tucked away in a side street away from passing traffic. NO ONWARD CHAIN.

Why You'll Like It - This historic two double bedroom city cottage has been significantly updated over time including a replacement roof and has been recently renovated with a brand new shaker style kitchen, redecoration and new carpets. The property benefits also from a delightful sunny garden to the rear. The entrance is a UPVC double glazed door and the hallway has been merged with the living room with fresh carpeting giving a modern feel (although we are told that the original tessellated tiled floor remains below to be rediscovered if wanted). The living room is open plan with a UPVC window to the front and an attractive feature fire place with stone chimney. Open plan, the living room connects with the dining room creating a dual aspect room with a feeling of light and space. A coloured glazed door then opens to the recently refitted brand new shaker style kitchen which is designed in a galley layout with brand new electric oven, ceramic hob and stainless style chimney extractor. There is plentiful work surface space and a stainless steel Franke sink along with space and plumbing for a washing machine, space for fridge and metro style tiling. Towards the rear of the cottage, a further hallway gives access to the back door and the ground floor bathroom where there is a white bath with shower over, white WC and basin. Heading up to the first floor, there are two double bedrooms and the front bedroom has amazing Cathedral views while the rear bedroom looks out to the garden. The front bedroom does have two windows and appears to have space to subdivide and create another bedroom or perhaps a first floor shower room. Outside to the rear, there is a courtyard with slate flag stone patio and whitewashed stone walling. From the courtyard, steps take you up to an elevated and sunny garden with lawn and hedges. To the front there is on street residents parking via a Cornwall Council residents permit parking scheme (subject to availability and annual fees).

Where It Is - Richmond Terrace is a tucked away side street off Richmond Hill and away from passing traffic. This location is easily walkable to the fantastic array of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes in the city centre. The neo gothic Cathedral holds many events including craft markets and silent discos in addition to wonderful concerts. The Hall For Cornwall is the county's theatre with amazing shows ranging from panto to big name stand ups with plays and musicals every bit as good as The West End! There are great restaurants a short walk away. Bosvigo primary school is highly regarded and close and Truro mainline railway station is just up the hill with services to London Paddington including the sleeper train and also a handy branch line connecting with Penryn and Falmouth. There are regular buses too and this is a great location for access to Treliske Hospital, Falmouth University and Truro College.

Services And Tenure - The property is freehold and has mains water, mains drainage, mains gas and mains electricity.

In an industry increasingly reliant on automated systems and unanswered calls, we pride ourselves on being accessible, accountable and proactive.
