Dockside, Leith

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The amenities on the doorstep are so incredibly comprehensive with an Eastern European restaurant that has become a favourite in Ocean Terminal nearby. I love the quiet! So quiet in the apartments. Theres little noise from traffic and the views are tranquil and brilliant and promote an all encompassing ambience.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The wee things are never a trouble. Maintenance go the extra mile. Theres relatively few issues in a prestigious development!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

All was explained so well. I wish perhaps to have taken the furniture option as I chose to provide my own.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of the complex itself is so convenient with public transport links and I never have any issues getting where I need. High quality of amenities surrounding the local area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Have had multiple maintenance appointments, and they provide a quick fix but not of any high quality. For example, the flooring in the en-suite upon moving in was not sealed properly and the tile wasn’t even laid back correctly and the tiles are still loose.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just how rushed the works of the apartment feels and how everything was built.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I really like the location. You are away from the busy city centre, but still close enough that getting into town is easy. The area around feels safe, and it is nice having a quieter neighbourhood while still being close to everything. Leith is only around 10 minutes away on foot, with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops, and there are good bus and tram links nearby. Ocean Terminal and Tesco are also useful for everyday things.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance issues are dealt with and it's reassuring knowing there is a team on site who can help when something needs fixing.

Once you actually live here, you realise how useful it is having everything in the building and a team on site who you can speak to when you need something.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Leith is a beautiful neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants coffee shops pubs and stores. Leith walk is lively and happening.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Belle is so friendly and helpful she is always a delight to see in the building!

It is windy by the sea but there are carts to use to help

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The tram line is great for getting into the city center. A few more shops have opened in ocean terminal too. The shore is my favorite though, so many great places to eat and drink!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Really quickly, i've only had a couple of small things but they've always been done quickly.

I wish i'd known how great the comunity was and how kind people are at Dockside, we've already made some great friends here.
