5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in Wandsworth is fantastic with the amount of restaurants and bars in the area. Also train station is just here as well, with 15 mins roughly into Waterloo. There is works going at station so it can be noisy early on weekend and as we living in Aviator point, it’s right under us.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had my wardrobe doors not working and Paulo Floriano put a fix request in for me and they came and fixed it within a week.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How late the trains run into the night as you can hear them.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Wandsworth Town is a convenient and increasingly lively area, with a good mix of shops, cafés, restaurants, bars and green spaces. New Acres itself has several independent businesses, including cafés, restaurants, a Waitrose and other useful services, while Southside Shopping Centre and Wandsworth High Street provide a wider range of shops and everyday amenities. There are also parks and riverside areas nearby, which are good for walking and relaxing. Transport links are one of the main advantages, with Wandsworth Town railway station very close by and regular trains towards Clapham Junction and Waterloo. There are also several bus routes connecting the area with Battersea, Putney, Clapham and other parts of London. The main downside is that there is no Underground station immediately nearby, so journeys requiring the Tube can sometimes be less convenient. The area around New Acres is generally modern and residential. Downside is the nearby waste and recycling facility, which can occasionally result in concerns around noise or odours. Overall, the area is well connected and has a good range of amenities, with ongoing improvements planned for Wandsworth Town Centre.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team has always been responsive and professional when dealing with issues. Kamil and Francisco are approachable, listen to concerns and make a genuine effort to resolve problems quickly and keep residents updated throughout.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how much the community and communal spaces add to the overall experience. The development has a friendly atmosphere, and there are plenty of opportunities to meet neighbours and make use of the facilities. My advice would be to get involved early, explore the communal areas and don’t hesitate to speak to the building management team if you need anything—they are very approachable and helpful. One thing I wish I had known before moving in is the proximity of the recycling centre. Apart from this, the development itself is a great place to live, with great facilities, a friendly community and a very convenient location.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is fantastic, near Westfield and Stratford International. I can tell that the building has been designed with soundproofing in mind, but to be honest, even with the windows closed, i can still hear the sound of trains below and the music from the bar (or is it a restaurant?) opposite in the evenings. However, given that the location, I can understand this.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The FOH team responds promptly to everyday issues, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. However, when it comes to matters such as leasing, rents and payments, staff responses are not always timely (or rather, hardly ever reply). I'm not sure whether residents can send queries to the leasing team... but their email is on the resident handbook. Personally, I find the portal's design rather confusing, particularly the recent payments activity section (this is merely my personal opinion).
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Actually the messages before moving in are quite detailed. Thank you to the management team. It's great.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
My husband and I moved to Glasgow knowing nothing about the city. And we couldn't have picked a better location! Candleriggs is super central - an easy (and safe) 8 minutes' walk to the Central Station and Queen Street Station, even closer to Argyle Station and the St. Enoch subway station, about 12 minutes' to Buchanan Bus Station...not to mention 4 minutes' to the River Clyde, and about 5 minutes to the beautiful Glasgow Green park. This is such a vibrant part of the city - so many restaurants and cafes, independent shop & boutiques, theatres, arts/creative spaces, yoga studios, churches, sport/gym facilities, co-working spaces etc. As long as you enjoy city living, you will LOVE this part of Glasgow!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The Candleriggs team is incredibly responsive - and always helpful and kind. We have also been impressed by how they have kept all residents updated regularly on premises/area-wide problems (like when there was no hot water, or internet failure); and how they stayed late at the front desk to attend to residents. We have not as yet had any experience of the maintenance team, but we expect them to be equally great.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
As feedback: On our arrival day (which was a Saturday), we were a little confused as to where to park in order to unload. The security opened at the back for us to park temporarily, which helped a lot. The only trolley was being used by another resident, so we must have made 12-15 journeys from the back door to our apartment (6th floor) carrying all our stuff by hand. It would have been a tremendous help had there been another trolley available!
