4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The noise ain’t great but it’s city centre living I suppose, shops are fine etc. Would be nice to have like a vending machine or something for communal spaces.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yeah generally fine, but I was gaslighted once by a repair man who said my window wasn’t supposed to fully open, only to have the next repairman say it should and it was simply a building defect.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The window scrapes my ceiling and causes damage, I really wish these things were checked before listing and fixed before we moved in.

The renting contract process was too complicated and it took time. I wish I knew that I need previous owner approval.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We’re very pleased with the location. It’s central and convenient, with good access to bus routes and other transport links, as well as shops and a supermarket nearby. There are also some lovely green spaces and parks close by, which is particularly convenient for families with young children. The area around the building is generally quiet, and we’ve found it to be a comfortable place to live. We haven’t experienced any significant issues with noise or antisocial behaviour. Parking is also convenient with the building’s parking facilities. Overall, the local area is one of the things we like most about living here.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team have been helpful, approachable and responsive when we have raised any issues. Problems have generally been addressed promptly, and we have been happy with the support and communication provided.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The apartment itself is lovely and well designed. One thing we didn’t realise before moving in was that the communal areas and hallways could sometimes do with a little more attention when it comes to cleanliness. That said, we’ve noticed improvements when we’ve raised this with the management team. It’s also worth knowing that the apartments don’t come with a microwave. Overall, it’s a friendly and convenient place to live, with a lovely garden, parking and regular community events.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Excellent location with multiple transport links available in close proximity. City centre within walking distance, as are all the beautiful green spaces. Heaps to do in Bath!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Minor issue with balcony door raised, speedy response and resolution
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I’ve relocated here from West Sussex, and do not regret my decision to rent at SBY. The community is just lovely. People are friendly and chatty and the management team organise a range of socials you can get involved in if you choose, which are great fun.
