Description
5 things our current owners love about their home:
1. Having the station so close has been incredibly convenient. Being able to leave the house and be at the train within a couple of minutes makes commuting, days out and getting around without the car so much easier.
2. We`ve been really lucky with the people around us and there`s a genuinely friendly feel to the neighbourhood. There`s also always someone around to take in one of my constant deliveries, which has definitely been a bonus!
3. Having our own ensuite has been brilliant, and we particularly love the generous shower. It`s fully tiled, easy to maintain and gives us our own bathroom space away from the main family bathroom.
4. The garage gives us brilliant additional space, but it`s the easy access from the garden that makes it particularly practical. Whether we`re putting away outdoor equipment, bikes or anything else, we can get straight to it without having to go around the house.
5. We have an under-stair cupboard, additional cupboard space in the hall and a floored loft, so there`s somewhere for everything. It makes such a difference in a family home and helps us keep the main living spaces clear and organised.
The lounge is a brilliant size and immediately feels like the heart of the home. There is plenty of room for generous seating, while the front-facing bay window brings in lots of natural light. A feature fireplace creates a focal point, and the proportions make this an easy space for the whole family to enjoy together.
Beyond the lounge, the ground floor offers an additional area with patio doors opening directly onto the rear garden. This extra reception space adds real flexibility to the layout and could work brilliantly as a dining area, playroom or relaxed family space, particularly for anyone wanting somewhere the children can enjoy while keeping the main lounge separate.
The kitchen sits alongside and provides a good amount of cabinetry and worktop space, with the layout keeping everything practical and within easy reach. A downstairs WC is another welcome addition for busy family life.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, with the main bedroom benefiting from its own fully tiled ensuite shower room. The remaining bedrooms offer flexibility for children, guests or working from home, while the family bathroom provides a bath with overhead shower.
Storage has been really well considered throughout the property. Alongside the bedroom storage, there is an under-stair cupboard, further cupboard space around the hall and landing and a floored loft, giving the family plenty of places to keep everyday belongings tucked away.
The rear garden provides a great balance of lawn and decked space, giving children room to play while still offering somewhere for outdoor seating and entertaining. Importantly, the garage can be accessed directly from the garden, making it particularly useful for bikes, garden equipment, storage or simply bringing things between the house and garage without having to walk around the front.
To the front, the property benefits from a driveway alongside the garage, providing convenient off-road parking.
Drumsagard is a popular residential area in Cambuslang, particularly well suited to buyers looking for a family-friendly setting while remaining connected to Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
One of the biggest advantages of this particular home is its proximity to the train station, which the current owners advise is around a two-minute walk away. The wider Cambuslang area also provides a good selection of shops, schools and everyday amenities, with convenient road connections for commuters.
With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, flexible living space, a garage, brilliant storage and the train practically on the doorstep, this is a home designed to make everyday family life that little bit easier.
