Description

"Our much-loved home has been the perfect introduction to life in South Bristol, with everything we could possibly need just a 30-minute walk away. From the independent shops, cosy restaurants and lively bars of Bedminster to the baby groups we’ve discovered along the way, this little corner of Bristol has truly made this house feel like home. It’s also been the backdrop to some of our happiest memories including a garden balloon-festival proposal and bringing home our first baby. We’re so sad to say goodbye, but hope the next owners love this home, its garden and its wonderful neighbourhood as much as we have."

The Home

A colourful and well presented two-bedroom home. At the front of the house is the living room, a bright space with a large window, wooden flooring and plenty of room for a full-sized sofa alongside additional seating and shelving. The current owners have added personality into the room with a deep green feature wall and lots of plants making the most of the natural light. Behind this is the dining room and is great size for entertaining, there is ample space for a large dining table without the room feeling crowded and the wooden flooring continues through and gives the ground floor a nice flow. The kitchen sits just off the dining room and is fitted with cream cabinets, wooden worktops and tiled splashbacks. Beyond here is a lean-too / side extension which provides a useful extra bit of space before reaching the utility room at the rear. The utility has direct access onto the garden and there is also a separate downstairs WC.

Upstairs are two double bedrooms. The larger bedroom sits to the rear and spans the full width of the house, while the second bedroom is another comfortable double with space for wardrobes and additional furniture, from here you can also get a great view of the suspension bridge. The bathroom is also a good size finished with dark green metro tiles, patterned flooring and a shower over the bath.

Outside Space

The rear garden has been arranged to be easy to look after with a decked seating area, artificial lawn and gravelled sections surrounded by established planting. The deck at the far end makes a lovely spot to sit out particularly with the more open outlook beyond towards Ashton Court

Living in Bedminster

Trafalgar Terrace is a quiet residential street, with houses along just one side and parking spaces and a community play area on the other. Trafalgar Terrace is within easy reach of the hugely desirable North Street, a well-known and vibrant road running through Southville and Bedminster. This area is popular with a range of residents for its independent shops and amenities and abundance of recognisable culture, typified by annual events such as ‘Upfest’ and the nearby Harbourside Festival and Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. Much of this area’s attraction stems from its proximity to Bristol City Centre. The accessibility of the city centre makes this area in high demand with young professionals, commuters and those who look to enjoy the high-quality shops, bars and restaurants of North Street, Bristol City Centre and Harbourside, including the newly developed Wapping Wharf. For those who require frequent access out of the city, the property is also close to both Bedminster and Parsons Street station, a short walk to the Bristol Airport bus stop, as well as offering several routes by road to outstanding countryside and more rural attractions nearby. Finally, there is a bakery nearby called the Batches Bread Project, as well as the ever popular 'Estate of the Arts' which hosts regular open studios, workshops, makers markets, and film nights.
