5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We’ve been living here for 7 months now and have had a really great experience. The apartment is comfortable and convenient, the neighbours are friendly, and the management team is excellent — they are always helpful and quick to sort out any issues.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has responded promptly and professionally to any issues raised. Problems have been addressed efficiently and communication has generally been good.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Everything has been good so far. I am happy with the property and the overall experience.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The property is very well developed with easy and convenient access to local shops including a big Sainsbury's. It is only a 6-minute walk to the train station. For Brighton-London commuters it is very convenient.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We didn't feel confident to write anything until now - we have lived here for 6 weeks already. The staff are generally very responsive, friendly and effective, especially the manager Jess. She is almost smiling, caring and friendly, and most importantly, efficient. Despite our nightmare experience with the referencing team, she is probably 50% of the reasons why we decided to still live in here. Jess has is a vital element in what makes this community great.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How long the referencing procedure would take. The referencing team didn't get in touch until 5 days before our move-in day. This is turned out to be an utter nightmare.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Located next to Blackhorse Road Station, BHM has easy access to central London with both the Victoria tube line and Suffragette Overground line. Blackhorse Road is an increasingly sought after area. Definitely recommended.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any building issues or appartement queries are addressed as soon as is reasonably possible.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Close to the Walthamstow Wetlands, the air quality is so much better and cleaner than central London. I felt the difference as soon as I moved in. It brought a fresh breath to my life, literally!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area around the building is great, just a two minute walk from a big sainsburys, the pubs around close at a reasonable time so it’s not noisy during the night and the windows are noise cancelling so you can’t hear anything in the flats. The building is very close to transports links as it’s near London Road and also a 7 min walk from the train station. The residents are nice and friendly and there is a resident group chat that is great to keeping up to date with everything. There is a bike store and car parking in the building as well.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues that we have raised while living there were dealt with in less than 24 hours. Any miscommunications were dealt with very professionally and the team would go out of their way to help us out and to make us feel at home.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing that I wish I knew before moving in is make sure that you have all the documents ready and that you meet all the requirements to live in the building as otherwise the process might take longer
Manager's response5Dear DZ, Thank you so much, DZ, for taking the time to leave such a fantastic 5-star review and for sharing your experience with us! It’s wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your 1.5 years with us, and we’re particularly pleased that our on-site team, facilities, maintenance service and location helped make the building feel like home. Your kind words about the team being approachable, responsive and willing to go the extra mile really mean a lot to us. We’re also delighted to hear that the move-in and move-out processes were smooth and that you appreciated our pet-friendly approach, we’ll certainly miss having you and your little cat as part of the community! Thank you again for being such a valued resident. While we’re sorry to see you leave due to your work relocation, we’re so pleased that you had such a positive experience during your time here. We wish you all the very best in your new home and hope you’ll visit us again in the future! Warm regards, Your York & Elder Community Team
