I have been staying here for more than two years and have had a great experience. The reception team has always been friendly, helpful, and professional. Special thanks to Michelle, who makes every query or problem feel simple and always helps find a quick and effective solution.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

So many events per month organised by the reception team

It is close to the city centre with with easy access to public transport, if necessary. There is limited parking areas and can be quite noisy

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The team was incredible, the management repair app needed some tweeks

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good location, has some antisocial behaviour. Traffic is not loud however the building work that has been ongoing is very loud when windows are open and leaves dust on balconies. Brilliant transport links and accessibility .

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any resident is still able to access the parcel room . I’m aware some stolen items have not been recovered.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The reoccurring development issues on parcels and the limit of one mail box key per apartment which is impractical. Other Grainger properties provide one per resident, including Argo.

    Manager's response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you value the building’s location, transport links and accessibility, although we are sorry to hear about the concerns you have raised regarding parcel deliveries and the ongoing development works. With regard to parcels, we would like to clarify that missing parcels are exceedingly rare and are not considered a frequent occurrence within the building. Building management takes any report of a missing parcel extremely seriously, and each reported occurrence is investigated individually. Where items cannot ultimately be recovered, we understand how frustrating and concerning this can be for residents. The parcel room forms part of the building’s amenities and is a secured area. Access is protected by a point of access control at the building entrance door, as well as a further access-control point at the parcel room itself. The parcel room is located directly in front of the reception area where either a Grainger team member or a member of the security team is available 24/7. We continually review the security arrangements within the building and take residents’ concerns regarding the safety of their deliveries seriously. We also note your comments regarding access to the parcel room and the suggestion that only concierge or security should retrieve parcels. We appreciate that residents may have differing expectations around how parcel collection should operate, and your feedback will be shared with the upper management team for consideration. Regarding the ongoing development works, we appreciate that noise and dust can be disruptive, particularly when windows and balconies are in use. Please note that we are not undergoing any works & any works that are happening currently are from external parties with no connection to Grainger. Finally, we note your feedback regarding the number of mailbox keys provided per apartment and understand your point that this may be less convenient for multiple-occupancy homes. This feedback is also appreciated and will be considered. Thank you again for your feedback. We value residents raising concerns with us, as it helps us identify where communication, processes or amenities can be improved. Please feel free to speak to the resident services any time for any other feedback you may have.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is one of the best things about living at The Mint. It is very close to Guildford town centre, with plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Guildford train station is also nearby, which makes travelling very convenient, and there are good bus links around the area. It is also easy to walk or cycle to the Royal Surrey County Hospital. The area feels safe and pleasant overall.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team has been responsive, friendly and helpful. Any questions or minor issues I have raised have been dealt with promptly, and communication has been clear and professional.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The move-in process was straightforward and the development has been very convenient and comfortable.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Everything useful is within a 5 minute walking distance, with an Aldi, gym, bars, restaurants etc. Also public transport is close by, and taxis are readily available.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, and resolved them very quickly, with their own on-site maintenance team.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the team would go above and beyond to fix any and all issues.
