Description
Five things our current owners love about their home:
1. We love how convenient the location is. We are within walking distance of several supermarkets, local shops and bars, making it really easy to pick up anything we need or head out without having to travel far. Having direct train links to both Edinburgh and Glasgow nearby has also been brilliant, whether we`re commuting, meeting friends or planning a day out. Everything feels so accessible, which has made everyday life here incredibly convenient.
2. Our private garden is one of our favourite places because it gets sunlight from morning until night. During warmer weather, it`s lovely being able to sit outside, relax and enjoy the sunshine without having to leave home. We also really appreciate how private it feels, making it a peaceful spot to unwind. Having a low-maintenance outdoor space means we can spend more time enjoying it rather than constantly looking after it.
3. Having our own private driveway with room for two cars right at the front of the house is incredibly practical. We never have to worry about finding somewhere to park when we get home, which makes a real difference to everyday life. There`s also always been plenty of space on the street, so whenever family or friends come to visit, parking has never been an issue.
4. Our house is tucked away in a very quiet, peaceful estate, which is something we`ve always appreciated. It`s lovely coming home to somewhere that feels calm and relaxed, especially after a busy day. We`ve also been incredibly lucky with our neighbours, who are genuinely friendly, helpful and lovely to live alongside. That welcoming atmosphere has made this such a nice place to call home.
5. We really like that our home is a quarter villa because it gives it such a unique layout compared with other properties. The spiral staircase is one of our favourite features and adds so much character to the living space. Upstairs, the open plan bedroom feels really cosy and comfortable, creating a lovely place to relax at the end of the day. It`s a layout that we`ve genuinely enjoyed living in and one that makes the house feel a little bit special.
Full of personality and beautifully presented throughout, Moss Road offers a refreshing alternative to traditional one-bedroom living. With its distinctive quarter-villa design, striking spiral staircase, stylish interiors and private garden, this is a home that makes clever use of every inch of space.
The bright and generously proportioned lounge provides a fantastic setting for relaxing, entertaining or working from home. Fresh white walls, contemporary grey flooring and plenty of natural light create a welcoming atmosphere, while the current layout comfortably accommodates two sofas, a coffee table and a dedicated desk area.
A striking spiral staircase adds a unique architectural feature to the room, creating an attractive focal point while leading to the upper level accommodation.
The modern kitchen is both stylish and practical, featuring grey cabinetry, contrasting dark handles, coordinating work tops and crisp white tiled splash backs. Generous cupboard space, room for essential appliances and a window above the sink make this a bright and functional space for everyday cooking.
Upstairs, the open plan bedroom offers a cosy and comfortable retreat. Soft neutral decor, plush carpeting and mirrored wardrobes create a relaxing atmosphere, with plenty of room for a double bed and additional furniture. The unusual layout adds real character, making this home feel different from a conventional one bedroom property.
The bedroom also benefits from its own contemporary en suite shower room, complete with a generous walk-in shower, modern grey wall panels, white sanitaryware and a vanity unit providing useful storage.
Outside, the private enclosed garden is another fantastic feature. Designed for low-maintenance living, the paved patio offers an ideal spot for outdoor dining, summer evenings or enjoying a morning coffee. The current owners particularly love how much sunshine the garden enjoys throughout the day, while timber fencing provides privacy.
To the front, a private driveway offers off-road parking for two cars, with additional on-street parking available for visitors.
Combining contemporary interiors, a clever layout, private outdoor space and excellent parking, Moss Road is a fantastic opportunity for first-time buyers, downsizers or anyone looking for a stylish home with a little more personality.
Full of personality and beautifully presented throughout, Moss Road offers an exciting alternative to traditional one bedroom living. Its distinctive quarter villa design, clever use of space and contemporary finishes create a home that feels both practical and inviting.
