4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s super conveniently located it’s close to loads of shops and to town. The street is relatively quiet however there isn’t much parking within the building we’ve been waiting a few months to get a space and still haven’t and the free on street parking is limited and constantly occupied. The bin collections are pretty constant and rarely have issues with those. Everyone’s quite lovely in terms of other neighbours and staff and we have no complaints with people within the building however sometimes they smoke outside the building meaning the smoke can get into the flats but that’s human I guess. The open spaces are well maintained and stocked.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yeah they’ve responded really quickly and tend to send someone around really quickly and reply to queries in person and via the form really quick
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The events are super cool but maybe like a broadcast/email could help? And the parking situation upfront would have been better and easier to manage expectations

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Location is spot on. Just far enough from the city to get away from the bustle but close enough that its just a short tram ride away. One thing that could be better is the availability of parking for residents. Being put on a long waiting list isnt ideal
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have been excellent in responding to my queries f2f. Could do better with email comms
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Maybe an appliance check would have been good. There seems to be an issue with my washing machine

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The property is well situated providing access to bus , train and tram in a safe location. It's also very close to Tesco superstore as well as Tesco express. There are 2 bars just nearby. And quite a few restaurants and bars around. The area is quite safe and slow near to the metropolitan university hospital. Free and safe parking is available just outside the property. Noise levels are not an issue , minimal antisocial behavior and traffic noise is almost non existent.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Quite fast and efficiently. They are quite good in their jobs and fast to solve matters if they arise and quite knowledgeable.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There was no microwave, kitchen storage is limited and no shelves or drawers in the wardrobe

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area has been great for us as a family with three young children. Everything we need is conveniently close by, and we have found the area pleasant and comfortable to live in. The location was actually one of the reasons we first contacted The Good Yards, as it was close to our previous home and allowed us to stay in an area we already knew and liked.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has been excellent whenever we have raised an issue. For most smaller problems, we have reported them to reception and someone has attended within just a few hours. When an external contractor has been required for something more specialised, it has understandably taken a little longer, usually a couple of days. Communication has always been good and we have never felt that an issue was being ignored.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We honestly wish we had known beforehand how easy and supportive the whole experience would be. We were initially worried about moving with three young children, especially because we had such a short timeframe and were going on holiday at the same time. In reality, the team made everything straightforward. After living here for almost six months, we have also been pleasantly surprised by how responsive the reception and maintenance teams are. That is something you don’t really get to experience or appreciate during a normal viewing.
Manager's response5Thank you, Romal, for your wonderful review and for trusting The Goodsyard with your family's move. We're delighted to hear that Naqqash and the team helped make the process smooth and stress-free, and that you've continued to enjoy such a positive experience over the past six months. Thank you for your kind words and for being a valued part of our community.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is absolutely fantastic—literally right next to the train and metro station, and within walking distance of the city centre. It’s also incredibly convenient for taking my dog out for walks. I’m just looking forward to the shortcut to the train station opening very soon, which will make the location even more convenient.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I haven’t had any problems or issues to raise so far, but the building management and reception team have always been very helpful, friendly, and approachable.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Honestly, nothing in particular. Everything has been as expected, and I’ve been very happy with my decision to move in.
Manager's response5Thank you, Aytun, for your wonderful review and kind words. We're delighted to hear you're enjoying the location, amenities, and welcoming atmosphere at The Goodsyard. It's especially great to know our team has made such a positive impact on your experience. Thank you for your recommendation and for being part of our community.
