The road ends here and a little country lane takes over, inviting you out for a walk. Children can play, dogs can roam, cats can explore? everyone can enjoy the outdoors, away from passing traffic.

The house:

A traditional country house, built of stone and earth, which has stood here for well over a century. There's an immediate feeling of warmth and permanence about the place.

It wears its age and character beautifully, without trying too hard. Nothing fancy, no fashionable interiors or latest trends, just honest simplicity and lovely natural materials: the irregular slate flagstone floors, the fireplace, the oak beams, large windows that let the garden and the light flood into the living room, handcrafted wrought-iron balustrades, solid oak doors, cupboards and shelving.
