In the centre of Manchester, hugely convenient. Close to public transport links e.g. train station/ bus and trams. Very close to multiple supermarkets and close to cafes. bars and restaurants.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management is very quick to respond, they have made reporting issues very easy via the Resident App and issues are managed quickly and timely. Very efficient team.

There is a fitness suite with associated changing rooms and lockers

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Residing here has been a combination of a lot of good decisions I’ve made. As it is literally in the centre of the city. You have Aldi , Tesco’s , Lidl only a few walks away. Not only that big retailers like Selfridges, Primark , Harvey Nichols all few minutes walk away, also to add the multiple of bars and restaurants that are close by, lastly would be how accessible it is for public transportation like tram , bus station and train station literally only a few blocks away from the duplex.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very effective and helpful when problems are raised
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
To be able to use the amenities at any given time. It would have been nice to know that some are out of service at some hours.
Manager's response5Hi Tatenda, thank you for your lovely feedback! We’re glad you enjoy the facilities, central location, and support from our management team. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with Josh Gilmore. We also appreciate your feedback regarding amenity access and will keep this in mind as we continue to improve our residents’ experience.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is very convenient, with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafés nearby. Public transport links are also very good, making it easy to get around Manchester. It can get a little busy and noisy at certain times, but overall it is a great location and everything I need is within easy reach.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Josh has generally been helpful and responsive whenever I have raised an issue. Also the building management team communicate clearly and try to resolve problems as quickly as possible.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I would have liked to know a little more about how busy the surrounding area can get at certain times, especially at weekends. However, the convenience of the location makes up for it, and overall I have enjoyed living here.
Manager's response5Hi Win, thank you for sharing your feedback and for your kind words about the building, its facilities, and the management team. We’re pleased to hear that you’ve had a positive experience living here and that you find the location convenient. We appreciate your understanding regarding the occasional noise and busyness of the surrounding area. It’s also great to hear that Josh and the wider management team have been helpful and responsive. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we’ll continue working hard to maintain a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for all our residents.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great central location with Northern Quarter and Ancoats on the doorstep for cafés, bars and restaurants. Shudehill and the city stations make transport easy. Parks are limited, parking is scarce, and weekend nights can be noisy, but bins are fine and it feels safe.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Holly and Ruby from building management have been helpful and approachable. When I've raised issues they've replied quickly, kept me updated and sorted things out without any fuss.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
A tip for new neighbours: get to know the building staff early, as they're friendly and make everything easier, from parcels to repairs. Check your bin and recycling days when you move in, and try the area at a weekend evening before you settle in so you know what the noise level is like. The Northern Quarter and Ancoats are on your doorstep, so you'll find your favourite coffee spot within a week.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I've lived in Ancoats 6 years and it is unique in that you get city centre living, but the borough itself feels like a village community. I joined the run club when I moved and I think that's why so many neighbours became lifelong friends. The only downsides are the parking, although if you work in the city centre you absolutely don't need a car, and the fact the rent prices creep up so much, but that's a nationwide/political issue due to it being an unregulated industry.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Brilliant! there were some issues we noticed that weren't flagged on our inventory ehrn we moved in and they fixed them swiftly for us. They're always helpful when we need.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We didn't view the flat we chose, so I checked at the time of viewing that it was on the side of the building I wanted (it was). I'd say make sure you understand what you're getting because the view and light can make all the difference.
