Description
What it’s got.
Sitting in the highly sought-after location of Whitecliff this 2/3 bedroom 1/2 reception detached bungalow offers a harmonious blend of style, comfort, and convenience.
As you step through the front door, you are greeted by a spacious interior with a generous open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner. The lounge/dining area comfortably fits living and dining furniture with sliding patio doors leading onto the garden. The contemporary kitchen has been thoughtfully designed with ample storage and plenty of worktop surface. There are two tastefully decorated double bedrooms both with bespoke shutters. There is also a generous single bedroom/office or dining room. A modern bathroom completes the interior, providing a sleek and contemporary feel to this charming property.
Stepping outside, the property continues to impress with its private Westerly facing garden, bathed in sunlight throughout the day and evening, creating the perfect spot for outdoor dining or relaxing in the tranquillity of your own space. The driveway offers off street parking for several vehicles comfortably (able to accommodate a boat or motorhome easily) and a sizeable shed for extra storage and outdoor equipment one uses often in Poole. The property benefits from being within the catchment area of the prestigious Lilliput & Baden Powell schools, making it an ideal choice for families seeking top-notch education.
The exciting part is whilst this is currently a wonderful living space for a couple or small family, there is the option of a modest rear extension that can turn this into a 4 bed / 1 bathroom or 3 bed / 2 bathroom property while maintaining a sizeable garden or creating a chalet style house, subject to the usual planning consents. Side access has been retained with this option in mind for cost effective expansion. The existing shed can be easily repurposed to a garden office.
What the owners say.
“I loved the bungalow as it ticked all my boxes, potential for development, a spacious sitting room overlooking the west facing garden and plenty of room for family and friends visiting. Being close to the beach and it’s lovely cafes, short walk to the park with its large children’s park and local shops both at the end of the road and short walks to either Lilliput and Ashley Cross. Several bus routes going to Poole town centre, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Swanage and Castlepoint shopping centre. All plus points. Although it’s time for us to move on I am sad to be leaving the bungalow and would take it with me if I could.”
Where it is.
The convenience of being just a short 5 minute walk away from the harbourside means that you can enjoy all the leisure activities and amenities that living by the water offers plus the schools and Ashley Cross can be walked to. The award winning beaches of Sandbanks are in easy reach either by car or cycling. Parkstone train station offers direct routes to Waterloo, London and can be walked to within 10 minutes. Poole Park & the town centre are also nearby.
