Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I moved from a very isolated area so moving to this development has been fantastic. Shops are walking distance, big supermarkets are a 5min drive and the train station is walkable. It is also really convenient to be close to all the main roads to get around Kent.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Thankfully I haven't had any issues but everybody so far has been amazing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything has been great tbh. I don't think I have anything i wish i knew before hand.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We are very happy with the area, plenty of parking availability and the access to estate is safe which is very important

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Excellent, very prompt responses. The team have always gotten back to be right away, nothings a problem.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

To have earlier notice to order bins in advance as we assumed as renting they would automatically be provided

Leaf Living at Summerhill Gardens, BN27

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a good selection of shops in both directions from the housing development. Parking is always going to be an issue as most houses have more than 2 vehicles and there is never enough spaces for residents let alone visitors. Traffic noise should be minimal as estate is quite large and located on a back road between two towns.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues as yet but being a new build there will be a snag list at some point.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When you move to any new build site you don’t know any neighbours or habits but as the houses start to fill you get to see how the estate is progressing, especially when neighbours start to leave rubbish on the ground after bins get blown over etc. it’s not a good look at all.

Leaf Living at Bamford Park, CV33

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s been very difficult to begin with, we have moved in too soon, our front drive is being dug up at 8am in the morning drilling shudders through the whole house it’s a nightmare, the next door incomplete house makes it really difficult to take the bins out. There are no dog walks, all green areas are restricted areas for site work so there’s not a patch of grass to throw a ball and due to how much litter, glass, cigarette are on the development it’s not safe for me to walk my dog here, so have to drive 15 mins away. There is antisocial behaviour at the front of the estate, car issues, car crashes into the fence, people hanging out of windows in the flats shouting. This estate is a really difficult place to live currently but praying for things to get done quickly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They still have so much work to do they just say the quicker they get it done they will be out of pour way but the digging up our front drive and drilling into the ground every morning makes me on edge every morning. There is no clarity on timelines for where there will be a green space or even a tidy estate for a dog walk.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How far behind the development is and that the builders were going to need to dig up our drive and road + communication on time frames for things being done like green areas/parks

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

They will try take all of your deposit and screw you over just because it’s a “new build” - don’t scratch the walls or leave any trace of it being lived in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Nothing supportive with response and took us ages to get any of our deposit back only got some back and the rest 5 months after moving.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we didn’t move into a new build - waste of cash!
