Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Woking is a convenient place to live, particularly if you commute into London. The transport connections are a real advantage, with regular trains into London Waterloo and a good selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The town centre has most of what you need for day-to-day living, and there are some lovely green spaces in the surrounding area. Like most town centres, traffic can get busy during peak hours, but overall it's a well-connected and practical location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I wanted to take a moment to recognise Ryan for the excellent service and support he's provided at The Marches. From the very beginning, Ryan has been incredibly welcoming, professional and genuinely helpful. He's always approachable, happy to answer questions and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is taken care of. It's rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about the experience of residents, and Ryan is certainly one of those people. He makes a real difference to the overall experience of living at The Marches. A massive thank you to Ryan for all his help. He's a real credit to the team, and his efforts certainly don't go unnoticed!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I'd known before moving in is how expensive parking can be. Unfortunately, the parking costs are largely determined by the local council, which makes having a car quite costly. It's definitely something worth considering and budgeting for before moving in, particularly if you rely on your car regularly.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Woking is a super convenient and lovely place to live. The location is excellent with great transport links, especially the quick train connections into central London. The town centre has a wide range of local shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes all within easy walking distance. There are also plenty of beautiful green spaces nearby for walking and relaxing. The street is generally clean and quiet, bin collections are regular, and I’ve felt very safe living here over the past four years without any issues regarding anti-social behaviour.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management and maintenance team have always responded very quickly and efficiently to any issues raised. A special thanks to Ryan Ellery from the maintenance team, who always keeps the garden area immaculate and handles requests promptly with a polite and helpful attitude.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known just how convenient the location is and how friendly the maintenance staff are! Having well-maintained green spaces and dedicated onsite staff like Ryan really makes day-to-day living much more pleasant than expected.

Awesomely central. Great train service into London and out the way too. Plenty to do locally. Great shopping centre.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have had no issues to report, when we moved in rwception and facilities starff were extremly helpful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking is in the Shopping Centre so resident permit has to be booked through Council. Circa £125 if you pay monthly.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Amazing selection of local shops to pop out to. Great transport links by train and bus. Some good entertainment around the town too.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There haven't been many major issues that have needed to be raised, but whenever I have, there has always been a timely response. I always appreciate the easy communication.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Very good sound insulation above and below, it is very rare to hear neighbours. There are some train noise/ flashes that take some getting used to.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very nice location, good communal spaces. Direct trains to london. Word of caution: parking is not provided so have to pay separately for parking to council. Otherwise in all great place to live in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The resolution has been swift and quick, though the west side of the building quite frequently face issues with bin chute. But in all any maintenance request raised has been taken care of quickly and professionally.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There use to be many activities and events all around the year but recently things have slowed down and the management could make it better again. Otherwise close proximity to station and everything else you need is very nearby. And weekends bin chute not working is quite common one will get use to it.
