5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is very convenient, with an Aldi supermarket less than 100 metres away. It takes around 30 minutes to walk to the University of Birmingham, and the walk is peaceful and scenic. The area around the building is also relatively quiet, making it a pleasant place to live. Although I have only recently moved here, my first impressions have been very positive.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management team has been very approachable and helpful. Matthew has been particularly attentive and proactive. He helped me replace the battery in my front door lock and has always been happy to help with everyday questions and practical matters. I really appreciate how friendly and willing to help he has been, especially as I have only recently moved in.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I'd recommend getting to know the on-site team when you first move in, as they're very approachable and happy to help. There are quite a few practical things to familiarise yourself with, such as where the bin room is. Having someone like Matthew to help with these little things has made settling in much easier than I expected.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is in a great location for University of Birmingham students, conveniently situated between the university and the city centre, with good access to both. It is a peaceful, quiet and green neighbourhood, making it a pleasant place to live. There is also a cricket ground directly opposite, where you can watch matches for free, which is a lovely bonus! However, the only disadvantage is the limited choice of local shops, with Aldi being the main nearby option. Having more shops, cafés and restaurants within walking distance would make the area even more convenient.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been responsive and helpful when I have raised any problems or concerns. They have communicated clearly and made an effort to address issues in a timely and professional manner.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
As I moved in without viewing the property beforehand, I was pleasantly surprised by the development overall. One thing I wish I had known earlier was more about the building facilities and property management process, as this would have helped me better prepare for the move.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The apartment is about in the middle of the city centre and university of Birmingham, which is perfect for me to commute. The biggest advantage of the location is that a large park is right across the street.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I only had a few minor problems like door lock battery outage, and when I raised the issue via the resident portal, it was resolved in two days.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Some part of the road near the building can be blocked on some weekends (for a couple of hours) during the cricket season.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We’re very pleased with the location. It’s central and convenient, with good access to bus routes and other transport links, as well as shops and a supermarket nearby. There are also some lovely green spaces and parks close by, which is particularly convenient for families with young children. The area around the building is generally quiet, and we’ve found it to be a comfortable place to live. We haven’t experienced any significant issues with noise or antisocial behaviour. Parking is also convenient with the building’s parking facilities. Overall, the local area is one of the things we like most about living here.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team have been helpful, approachable and responsive when we have raised any issues. Problems have generally been addressed promptly, and we have been happy with the support and communication provided.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The apartment itself is lovely and well designed. One thing we didn’t realise before moving in was that the communal areas and hallways could sometimes do with a little more attention when it comes to cleanliness. That said, we’ve noticed improvements when we’ve raised this with the management team. It’s also worth knowing that the apartments don’t come with a microwave. Overall, it’s a friendly and convenient place to live, with a lovely garden, parking and regular community events.
Manager's response4Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that you're enjoying the apartment, garden, community events, convenient location and parking facilities. It's especially great to know that Matthew and Alex have made a positive impact and have been able to support you whenever needed. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the cleanliness of the communal areas. Resident feedback is invaluable in helping us improve, and we're pleased you've noticed the efforts being made. Thank you for being part of our community and we look forward to continuing to make your experience a positive one.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great experience living here at Corkfield. Feels homely and warm. I was a tad bit distressed with the recent break-ins, that were accidental , but otherwise all good.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Prompt service and resolution. Staff is responsive and helpful.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing bad. But management needs to be more mindful of the people entering premises as there have been quite a few break-ins recently.
Manager's response5Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! We’re delighted to hear you’re enjoying the amenities, resident events and community at Corkfield. We really appreciate your kind words about our team and are pleased we’ve been able to respond promptly whenever support was needed.
