Description
Five things our current owners love:
1. My kitchen and sitting area. I absolutely love my kitchen and sitting area. It`s where I spend so much of my time, whether I`m cooking, relaxing with a coffee or catching up with family. Having everything together in one large, open space makes it feel so sociable and welcoming. It`s definitely one of my favourite parts of the house.
2. My lovely neighbours. I`ve been really lucky to have such nice neighbours. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, which makes a huge difference to how a neighbourhood feels. It`s lovely having people around you who are pleasant and helpful, and that`s something I`ll genuinely miss.
3. The peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. One of the things I appreciate most is how quiet the area is. It`s a lovely place to come home to, with peaceful surroundings and a relaxed residential atmosphere. Despite having everything I need nearby, it still feels tucked away from the busier parts of town.
4. Having shops just five minutes away. I love how convenient the location is for everyday life. Being only around five minutes from the shopping area means it`s easy to pick up groceries, run errands or get anything I need without travelling far. It`s a great balance of peaceful living and having amenities close by.
5. Schools being close to home. Having schools nearby is another fantastic benefit of living here. It`s a really convenient location for families, making school runs and everyday routines much easier. Combined with the quiet neighbourhood and nearby shops, it`s a brilliant place for family life.
A welcoming entrance hallway sets the tone, with attractive wood-effect flooring, fresh neutral decoration and a staircase leading to the upper level. From here, the ground-floor accommodation flows naturally into a series of beautifully proportioned living spaces.
Positioned to the front, an elegant lounge provides a wonderful retreat from the busier areas of the home. A large bay window fills the room with natural light, while soft carpeting, neutral decor and a traditional-style fireplace create a comfortable, inviting atmosphere. There`s ample space for substantial sofas and additional furniture, making this an ideal setting for relaxing evenings or entertaining guests.
Across the hallway, a separate dining room offers a fantastic space for more formal occasions. Currently arranged with a large dining table and traditional display furniture, its generous proportions comfortably accommodate family celebrations, dinner parties and special occasions. Natural light and understated decoration make this a room that can easily adapt to different interior styles.
Another particularly useful addition is the dedicated ground-floor office. With enough room for a desk, shelving and storage, this is a brilliant feature for anyone working remotely or running a business from home. Its separation from the main family living spaces makes it particularly practical when a quieter environment is needed.
Towards the rear, the heart of this impressive home reveals itself in the substantial open-plan kitchen, dining and living area.
Designed for spending time together, this wonderfully sociable space brings cooking, dining and relaxing into one connected environment. Attractive timber cabinetry is paired with dark worktops, coordinating splashbacks and a range of integrated appliances, creating a kitchen that offers both style and practicality.
A central island provides valuable additional preparation space and storage, while the generous arrangement of cupboards makes it easy to keep everything organised. Large windows introduce plenty of natural light, and the layout provides room for multiple activities without feeling crowded.
An informal dining area offers a lovely spot for everyday meals, while the adjoining sitting area creates somewhere to relax with a coffee, watch television or catch up with family while dinner is being prepared.
This additional seating space is one of the property`s standout features, making the kitchen much more than simply somewhere to cook. Whether hosting friends, enjoying a relaxed weekend or spending time together after a busy day, it`s easy to see why this area is such a favourite with the current owner.
French doors provide direct access to the rear garden, creating a fantastic connection between indoor and outdoor living during warmer months.
A separate utility room adds further practicality, keeping laundry and household essentials away from the main kitchen.
Completing the ground floor is a convenient WC, particularly useful for visiting guests.
Upstairs, four well-proportioned bedrooms offer excellent accommodation for growing families.
The main bedroom is an impressive retreat, featuring a beautiful bay window, generous floor space and room for a substantial double bed alongside additional furniture. Soft neutral tones and fitted carpeting create a relaxing atmosphere, while an adjoining ensuite shower room provides privacy and convenience.
Bedroom two is another comfortable double, beautifully presented with ample space for freestanding furniture. Its own ensuite shower room is a particularly valuable addition, making this room ideal for older children, visiting family or guests who appreciate a little extra independence.
Two further bedrooms continue the generous accommodation, each offering flexibility to suit different family requirements. Currently arranged as children`s bedrooms and hobby spaces, they could easily accommodate guest rooms, additional home-working areas or changing needs as a family grows.
A spacious family bathroom completes the upper level, featuring a corner shower enclosure, modern fitted storage, contemporary tiling and a bath. With two ensuites and a downstairs WC also available, this home is exceptionally well equipped for busy households.
Outside, the rear garden offers a fantastic combination of relaxation, entertaining and family-friendly space.
A substantial raised deck provides an impressive setting for outdoor dining and summer gatherings, with plenty of room for seating and garden furniture. Steps lead down to a lawn surrounded by decorative planting and established boundaries, creating an attractive outdoor area with room for children and pets to enjoy.
A further highlight is the detached summerhouse, providing an additional space away from the main property. With its own windows and double doors opening onto the garden, this versatile building could be used as a hobby room, creative studio, games room or peaceful retreat.
Completing the outdoor accommodation is a substantial double garage, offering secure parking and excellent storage, alongside a large driveway that comfortably accommodates multiple vehicles.
