To the right, the dining room also benefits from working shutters, a fireplace, and an Edinburgh press. There is also a library on the ground floor, complete with an mantelpiece and cornicing.
The kitchen has tiled flooring and features a traditional Rayburn and wall panelling. Beyond the kitchen is a utility room/kitchen fitted with a sink, fridge, washing machine, and oven. The room also comprises of a useful storeroom. The ground floor bathroom comprises a sink, loo, and a bath with shower over. From here there is a back door which provides external access to a contained walled courtyard area laid with paving and gravel.
On the first floor there is a landing with a storage cupboard. This level comprises four generously sized bedrooms, with Bedroom Three featuring two additional built-in storage cupboards. There is a family bathroom, fitted with a loo, sink, and bath with a tiled surround.
At mezzanine level there is a separate staircase leading down to an external door at the side of the property. This was used to provide independent access to the first floor when the owners used it as a self-contained flat.
Outside
To the front of the house is a garden with a low wall, central gravel path leading to the front door and with lawns to either side.
Outside the kitchen to the east of the house is an enclosed yard, used as a drying green. There is a door onto Main Street and an oil tank here. This yard connects to a grass courtyard to the rear with a high stone wall. This has double gates onto Main Street meaning cars can be parked here. There is a four bay open cart shed under a tiled roof and a separate barn.

North Quarter Farmhouse is set in the heart of Kingsbarns, a sought-after village in the East Neuk of Fife. The village has a distinctive square, a primary school, church, a local pub and village hall which is the venue for community events.
The house is less than a mile from Kingsbarns Beach which is reached from the village by a lane through the golf course.
