We asked the vendors about their time at this lovely property and they were happy to provide us with the following information.

What attracted you to the property when you bought it?

We fell in love with this house as soon as we saw it from the outside! Once inside it felt so light and airy thanks to the large windows and high ceiling in the living room. For me storage space was also an ongoing bug-bear with everything we had seen up to this point, but the huge coat cupboard and good sized practical under-the-stairs cupboard (now my 'Pantry') in the hallway, was more than enough room to meet all our needs with outdoor equipment, and then some; not to mention the excellent attic space that we have centrally boarded out and installed easy access too. The other key selling point for us was the garden as it has a private feel to it and the traffic noise is very minimal around the back of the house.

What improvements have you made to the house?

Since living here we have replaced all the flooring so that the kitchen, hallway, cloakroom, coat cupboard and under-the-stairs is all matching tile, the living room and master bedroom are LVT and new carpets to the stairs and back bedroom.
In 2022 we refurbished the en-suite with easy-care low maintenance aqua-panels and new shower etc.
We have landscaped the back garden to ensure that we can enjoy in comfort and privacy every last ray of summer sun and it has adequate space for outside entertaining
To create a second personal car parking space, we have replaced the front lawn with decorative stones so that a regular sized car can be parked there. When we had a plug-in electric vehicle we created a plug so we could charge our car from our front space.

What have you enjoyed about living here?

Access to central London in under and hour, with less then a 10 minute walk to the main-line station
Walking our dogs around the local countryside, straight from home
Getting to know our neighbours well in such a small development of only 11 homes
Easy walking access to small community facilities such as sports facilities, Library, take-aways, community gift-shop, hair & beauty shops, and more recently a large supermarket.
