Mountsfield Park is your most local one, then you’ve got Manor House Gardens (with cafe, tennis courts and lake, near a large Sainsbury’s), Ladywell and Hilly Fields (both of these have cute cafes, too). And it is but a 10 minute bus/cycle/drive to nearby Greenwich Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site, or Blackheath Common. Drive to Blackheath in five minutes for the Sunday market and general classy SE London-village life!
