Description
Five things our current owners love about their home
1. A fantastic family home with space inside and out. We love how much room we have, both inside the house and in the garden. Having four bedrooms, different living areas and plenty of outdoor space has been brilliant for family life. Everyone can enjoy their own space when they need it, but there are also fantastic areas where we can all spend time together.
2. A lovely quiet street with great neighbours. One of our favourite things about living here is how peaceful the street is. We have been lucky to have such lovely neighbours, and there is a really friendly atmosphere in the area. It`s a wonderful place to come home to, especially when you want somewhere quiet to relax after a busy day.
3. Being so close to the school. Having the school nearby has been a real benefit for family life. It makes the daily routine so much easier, particularly during busy mornings, and it`s reassuring to have local education facilities so close to home. It`s one of those practical advantages that you really appreciate when raising a family.
4. Easy commuting to both the east and west. We love how convenient the location is for travelling in either direction. Whether heading towards Glasgow or Edinburgh, the transport connections make getting around straightforward. It`s ideal for commuting to work, visiting family or simply enjoying everything the surrounding areas have to offer.
5. Our kitchen is definitely our favourite space. The kitchen is the room we enjoy most because it`s such a fantastic place for entertaining. There is plenty of room for cooking, dining and having everyone together without feeling crowded. Whether we`re hosting friends, enjoying family meals or just catching up at the end of the day, it`s the space where we naturally spend most of our time.
There is so much more to this impressive four-bedroom detached home than first meets the eye. With approximately 1,880 sq ft of accommodation and additional garage space, Herbison Crescent offers a fantastic combination of generous living areas, modern interiors and practical features that make everyday family life that little bit easier.
The front of the property has an attractive combination of stone detailing and rendered finishes, with a lawned garden and pathway leading to the entrance. A generous driveway provides off street parking and leads to the detached double garage, offering excellent additional storage or secure parking
The lounge is a wonderful place to relax, with its generous proportions allowing for multiple sofas without compromising on floor space. Soft grey carpeting, neutral walls and a stylish feature wall create a welcoming atmosphere, while the front facing window brings in plenty of natural light. Whether it`s a family film night or simply somewhere to unwind at the end of the day, this room has the comfort and space to accommodate everyone.
Positioned just off the entrance hallway, the dedicated home office is a brilliant addition to this family home. With its own separate space away from the main living areas, it`s ideal for anyone working from home who wants a quiet, practical environment without sacrificing a bedroom upstairs. Equally, this versatile room could be used as a study, homework room or additional playroom, depending on your family`s needs.
The heart of this home is the stunning kitchen and dining area, perfect for family life and entertaining. Stylish grey cabinetry, crisp white granite worktops and integrated appliances create a contemporary finish, while a breakfast bar, generous dining space and cosy corner seating offer plenty of room to gather. From busy family mornings to relaxed evenings with friends, this is a space everyone will love spending time in.
Beyond the kitchen, a separate living area provides another fantastic space to enjoy. With French doors opening directly onto the rear garden, this bright and versatile room offers a lovely connection between the house and outside. It could be used as an additional sitting room, a children`s playroom or a relaxed space to enjoy the garden throughout the year.
The ground floor also benefits from a separate utility room, keeping laundry appliances and household essentials away from the main kitchen. A convenient WC adds further practicality.
Upstairs, the four bedrooms provide excellent flexibility for a growing family.
The main bedroom is a beautifully presented retreat, with soft neutral decor, plush carpeting and plenty of room for a double bed and additional furniture. Its private ensuite shower room features contemporary fittings, a vanity unit and stylish tiling, creating a comfortable space away from the busier parts of the home.
The remaining three bedrooms are all well-proportioned and individually decorated. One features a striking pink and blue colour scheme, while the others have softer pastel finishes, demonstrating how easily these rooms can be adapted to suit different ages and personalities. Whether used as children`s bedrooms, guest accommodation or additional working space, the layout offers plenty of options.
Completing the upper level is a modern family bathroom, finished with contemporary grey tiling, a white bathroom suite and a shower over the bath.
Outside, the property continues to impress. The enclosed rear garden provides a fantastic combination of lawn and patio areas, offering space for children to play, summer barbecues and outdoor dining. French doors from the additional living area open directly onto the patio, making it easy to move between indoor and outdoor spaces when entertaining.
With its flexible layout, excellent entertaining spaces and family friendly outdoor areas, Herbison Crescent is a home that can comfortably adapt to every stage of family life.
