Description
Five things our current owners love about their home
1. Being so close to Glasgow City Centre. We love how easy it is to get into Glasgow. Rutherglen train station is only around a five minute walk away, and the train takes approximately 15 minutes to reach Glasgow Central. It`s brilliant for commuting, shopping or enjoying a day or evening in the city without needing the car.
2. Having everything we need on our doorstep. Having the large Tesco supermarket just a five minute walk away has been incredibly convenient. Whether it`s the weekly shop or picking something up for a last minute dinner, it`s great knowing that everyday essentials are so close.
3. Fantastic internet connectivity. Having access to high speed fibre optic internet has been a real bonus. It`s ideal when multiple people are streaming their favourite programmes, working online or scrolling at the same time, without constantly worrying about buffering
4. The friendly community within the building. We really appreciate the sense of community here. There are always friendly faces around the block, and having neighbours who know one another makes it feel welcoming and secure. It`s something we`ve really enjoyed about living here.
5. The convenience of ground floor living. Being on the ground floor makes everyday life so much easier. Whether we`re bringing in the weekly shopping, carrying heavier items or simply coming and going, not having stairs to climb is a huge advantage.
Whether you`re a first time buyer, downsizer or simply looking for a well proportioned home with excellent connections to Glasgow, Lloyd Court offers a fantastic combination of comfort, practicality and location.
The welcoming entrance hallway connects the rooms and provides additional storage, helping to keep everyday belongings neatly organised.
The spacious lounge is a real highlight of this property. A lovely bay window creates an attractive focal point, allowing natural light to fill the room while providing a pleasant outlook. The generous proportions comfortably accommodate a large corner sofa, additional seating and entertainment furniture, with plenty of room to create a relaxing space for evenings at home. Soft neutral decor and carpeting add to the welcoming atmosphere, making this a room that feels comfortable from the moment you enter.
Moving through the property, the separate kitchen provides a practical and well organised space for everyday cooking. Warm wood effect cabinetry is complemented by dark worktops and tiled flooring, with plenty of cupboards for storage and worktop space for food preparation. There is room for essential appliances, including a washing machine, while the window brings natural light into the room. The layout also provides space for a small breakfast table, making it ideal for a quick coffee or casual meal.
The accommodation continues with two generously proportioned bedrooms, both offering excellent flexibility.
The main bedroom is a bright and comfortable double room, featuring an attractive blue accent wall, soft carpeting and mirrored fitted wardrobes that provide useful storage without compromising floor space. There is plenty of room for a double bed and additional furniture, while the private ensuite shower room adds a welcome touch of convenience.
The second bedroom is another excellent size and is currently arranged to accommodate both sleeping and working space. Its proportions make it ideal as a guest bedroom, children`s room or dedicated home office, particularly appealing to buyers who work remotely. The warm feature wall adds character, while the window and neutral finishes help create a bright, inviting atmosphere.
Completing the accommodation is the main bathroom, finished with a white three piece suite including a bath, wash basin and WC. The additional ensuite means the property benefits from two separate bathroom facilities, a particularly useful feature for guests or those sharing the flat.
Lloyd Court enjoys a convenient location in Rutherglen, a popular residential area offering excellent access to Glasgow City Centre alongside a wide selection of local amenities. Rutherglen Main Street provides shops, cafes, restaurants and everyday services, while nearby supermarkets, including Tesco, make shopping particularly convenient. The wider area also benefits from leisure facilities, parks and additional retail options.
