    The Almere, MK9

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location wise, it’s perfect. It’s quiet but still central and everything you need is on your doorstep. Residents parking could be better but that’s a council problem and out of managements control. Bin collections and road noise are both generally good.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I’ve never had any issues at The Almere, however any enquiries I’ve made have been responded to same day.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

R1 parking is a short walk away but isn’t directly outside however this is made clear both online and typically when you view an apartment here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Almere is in a convenient location in Milton Keynes, with shops, restaurants and everyday essentials nearby. It’s a good base for enjoying the city centre and getting around.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

yes, did not raised a anything lately. Only maintenance that was picked up quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

nothing I can pick up. Maybe more flexibility when you want to move out

    Corkfield, B5

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is very convenient, with an Aldi supermarket less than 100 metres away. It takes around 30 minutes to walk to the University of Birmingham, and the walk is peaceful and scenic. The area around the building is also relatively quiet, making it a pleasant place to live. Although I have only recently moved here, my first impressions have been very positive.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management team has been very approachable and helpful. Matthew has been particularly attentive and proactive. He helped me replace the battery in my front door lock and has always been happy to help with everyday questions and practical matters. I really appreciate how friendly and willing to help he has been, especially as I have only recently moved in.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I'd recommend getting to know the on-site team when you first move in, as they're very approachable and happy to help. There are quite a few practical things to familiarise yourself with, such as where the bin room is. Having someone like Matthew to help with these little things has made settling in much easier than I expected.

    Manager's response

Hi Yidan, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. We're delighted to hear that you're enjoying life at Corkfield and that your move-in experience has been such a positive one. Matthew will be thrilled to receive your kind feedback. We take great pride in providing a welcoming and supportive environment for our residents, and it's fantastic to know that his help and kindness have made settling into your new home easier. Thank you for recommending us, and we look forward to continuing to make your experience at Corkfield a great one. Welcome to the community! 😊

    Signal Box Yard, BA2

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Pub is very close so is the gym although they have their own gym too. Parking was very convenient as Bath can be a pain to find parking. Bus stops are very close too and shops are a short walk up the road.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I don't think we had any problems in our short stay.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I can't think of anything. I do wish this type of facility would have been around in 2007 when I first moved to Bath.

    Corkfield, B5

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is in a great location for University of Birmingham students, conveniently situated between the university and the city centre, with good access to both. It is a peaceful, quiet and green neighbourhood, making it a pleasant place to live. There is also a cricket ground directly opposite, where you can watch matches for free, which is a lovely bonus! However, the only disadvantage is the limited choice of local shops, with Aldi being the main nearby option. Having more shops, cafés and restaurants within walking distance would make the area even more convenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been responsive and helpful when I have raised any problems or concerns. They have communicated clearly and made an effort to address issues in a timely and professional manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As I moved in without viewing the property beforehand, I was pleasantly surprised by the development overall. One thing I wish I had known earlier was more about the building facilities and property management process, as this would have helped me better prepare for the move.

    Manager's response

Hi Braden, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for recommending Corkfield. I am delighted to hear that you're enjoying the apartment, facilities, and our convenient location between the city centre and the University of Birmingham. I also appreciate your constructive comments regarding communication and resident onboarding. Feedback like yours helps us identify where we can improve, and we're always looking for ways to make the resident experience as smooth and informative as possible from move-in onwards. It's wonderful to know that the team has been responsive and helpful when addressing any concerns you've raised. Thank you again for your kind words and valuable suggestions. We're pleased to have you as part of the Corkfield community and look forward to continuing to support you throughout your stay.
