Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Super close to all amenities and the train station! Street parking can be hard to find, but there are multiple car parks in walking distance. Several grocery stores within walking distance. Very quiet, despite the proximity to the rail and canal

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly, both over email and in-person. The staff are incredibly friendly and eager to help

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew about the swans that nest in the canal just outside the building!

    Bargate Quarter, SO14

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area has its ups and downs. Being situated in the city centre means there is a good range of local shops and amenities nearby, making everyday shopping convenient. However, one of the main downsides is the amount of anti-social behaviour around the building, particularly during the late hours. While the central location is convenient, the noise and disturbances at night can sometimes affect the overall living experience.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The front-of-house team has been excellent, helpful, and professional whenever I have needed assistance. Unfortunately, my experience with the central team has been very disappointing, as I have found them dismissive and rude when raising issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how stressful the move-in process with the central team could be. The experience was disappointing and did not meet my expectations, particularly given the premium rent I am paying. In hindsight, I would have prepared myself for a more difficult process and managed my expectations accordingly. My advice to future residents would be to prepare for potential stress during the move-in process and not assume that the level of service will be consistent across all teams. Thankfully, the front-of-house team has been excellent, which has helped balance some of the negative experiences.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is fantastic, situated right next to The Bargate, with a bus stop downstairs for easy commuting. Westquay shopping centre is just a short walk away, which is perfect for grocery shopping, dining out and casual city walks. There are also lots of lovely cafes nearby to visit in spare time.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Overall, the management responds well to reported faults. Communication is clear and friendly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I fully realised how incredibly convenient the location is before moving in. It takes only a short walk to Westquay shopping centre and multiple bus stops, which makes daily errands and trips to university far easier than I expected.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Amazing location: train station literally 2 minutes walking, same as buses and a taxi stop. Regular bin collection. Very safe and tranquil area. Cons: Poor street lighting but sadly this the standard in Brighton & Hove same as potholes.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management is open to having upfront conversations. I find this very helpful . I note that feedback given has been put into practice.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The bad and ugly: When literally moving in and being handled our fob, we were advised that utilities were managed by a their party, who has rebranded at least twice its name and has had an extremely poor performance . We had no choice but sign up for a direct debit when the moving man was at the door of the development. I note some improvements in issuing bills currently and efforts to offer some better calculation of usage . But this is very recent in comparison to over the 2 years we are residents of the development .Several former residents have faced claims of underpayment when moving out and this shows how bad the utilities management wof the third party was and is?. We will never know until we move out. The third party handling of the complaints has been poor. No information was given on the third party procedure for complaints.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in Granary Wharf is great, particularly for its convenient location. Leeds city centre is within easy walking distance, with plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés and bars nearby. The waterfront is lovely and makes the area feel a little quieter despite being so central. Transport links are excellent, especially with Leeds train station just a short walk away. Overall, it’s a really convenient and enjoyable area to live in, particularly for students and young professionals. I also love the community aspect with lots of fun things organized for us especially by Kourtney.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

i have not had any issues thus far in my tenancy yay!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

possibly a clearer idea of which apartment i was moving into as i was only provided a blueprint
