Seller's Story - We have loved living here, we knew we would be able to put our stamp on this house as it was all painted white and lacked warmth and character .. we have loved choosing furnishings and paint colours and making this house into a home .. that could be enjoyed by us plus family and friends.
When viewing this house we loved how quiet this area was, you don’t drive up here unless you live here and it felt safe with children playing outside .. a lovely community feel ..
We found out on our first Christmas .. that you can join in with the Christmas window advent calendar ..
There is even a Facebook page for Catesby and Malvern ..
We also like that you could walk into town in 20 mins, to the train station in 25 minutes and that we were in great school catchment area and in walking distance to so many good schools.
We loved the feel of the back room, especially the space and how the bi-folds opened straight out onto the sunny garden
It felt so light ..
We have loved being able to walk our dog onto the Great Central Walk (a disused railway line that is now a nature reserve) , this is a mile long and takes you straight into Diamond Jubilee Wood.
Our favourite room has to be the front room in the winter. We also call it our snug, it is so cosy on a cold day to have the log burner on ..
In the summer my favourite room has to be the back room .. having the bi-folds open and feeling like you are living outside .. as this room just flows so naturally into the garden..
The back room is such a great space for dinner parties. It leads itself perfectly with all the work space and floor space
A memorable event would be our sons 21st party where we had 40 members of family around! It was the first time we had had so many people in the house and it worked so well .. it was a wonderful day filled with lovely memories that we will cherish always.
Putting our stamp on this house making this our home, from furnishings to paint colours has been one of the things I have enjoyed most.
But most of all designing the garden. When we moved in, there was not one plant in the back garden - there were just a few slabs!
Now it’s a garden for all occasions and weathers with an awning to help with sun .. leading into a covered outside eating and entertainment area.
We will definitely miss the quiet .. the neighbours are all so good.
I will miss my garden as love to sit in the oasis we have created. It’s such low maintenance.. so you can really enjoy it.
