5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There is an excellent choice of quality shops and restaurant available in and around the building. Everything from groceries to cafes, clothing brands and big restaurants. Transport is also one of the main perks of living on this street as there is both the bus stop and the railway right on the doorstep. Parking is not a problem as there is always space in the parking building. Train noises are sometimes a problem.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has been prompt in addressing my issues and resolving them as well. Sometimes the bin chutes are a problem but they get resolved within 1 or 2 days.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Rent seems to be going up too much even for a 1 bedroom flat.

Great location in the centre of Woking. Train station is close by - 24 minutes on a fast train and you're in London. Centrally located for shops, restaurants. Everything is a short walk away. Amazing walks in nature (canal and woodlands) close by.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team is always very quick to respond and solves problems in a very professional manner.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Being told you couldn't pay for the parking monthly. This is a council issue not The Marches

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Woking is a convenient place to live, particularly if you commute into London. The transport connections are a real advantage, with regular trains into London Waterloo and a good selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The town centre has most of what you need for day-to-day living, and there are some lovely green spaces in the surrounding area. Like most town centres, traffic can get busy during peak hours, but overall it's a well-connected and practical location.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I wanted to take a moment to recognise Ryan for the excellent service and support he's provided at The Marches. From the very beginning, Ryan has been incredibly welcoming, professional and genuinely helpful. He's always approachable, happy to answer questions and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is taken care of. It's rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about the experience of residents, and Ryan is certainly one of those people. He makes a real difference to the overall experience of living at The Marches. A massive thank you to Ryan for all his help. He's a real credit to the team, and his efforts certainly don't go unnoticed!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I'd known before moving in is how expensive parking can be. Unfortunately, the parking costs are largely determined by the local council, which makes having a car quite costly. It's definitely something worth considering and budgeting for before moving in, particularly if you rely on your car regularly.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Woking is a super convenient and lovely place to live. The location is excellent with great transport links, especially the quick train connections into central London. The town centre has a wide range of local shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes all within easy walking distance. There are also plenty of beautiful green spaces nearby for walking and relaxing. The street is generally clean and quiet, bin collections are regular, and I’ve felt very safe living here over the past four years without any issues regarding anti-social behaviour.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management and maintenance team have always responded very quickly and efficiently to any issues raised. A special thanks to Ryan Ellery from the maintenance team, who always keeps the garden area immaculate and handles requests promptly with a polite and helpful attitude.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known just how convenient the location is and how friendly the maintenance staff are! Having well-maintained green spaces and dedicated onsite staff like Ryan really makes day-to-day living much more pleasant than expected.
