Description

A fantastic family home with room to entertain and a garden that follows the sun! This lovely three-bedroom semi-detached property offers a generous lounge, a fantastic dining kitchen and an enclosed rear garden, all within a peaceful residential setting.

Five things our current owners love about their home:

1. The transport links. We`re only a few minutes` drive from the M8, which makes getting around so convenient. There`s also a bus service from Chapelhall directly to Glasgow in around 20 minutes, which is fantastic for commuting or days out.

2. The sunshine throughout the day. We love how the back garden catches the sun from sunrise on the lower patio right through to sunset on the upper patio. The large front window also lets so much sunlight into the house, making it feel lovely and bright.

3. Our fantastic downstairs living space. Having such a large living space downstairs is brilliant, especially when we`re entertaining. The French doors between the lounge and dining kitchen mean we can open everything up, and we`ve had some fantastic gatherings here. You really can fit a lot of people in!

4. The peaceful location and lovely neighbours. We`re tucked away in a quiet part of the village with no through traffic, which we really appreciate. The neighbours are excellent, everyone is so friendly, and it`s a lovely place to live.

5. Everything within walking distance. Having local shops, the library, primary schools and doctors all within walking distance makes everyday life so much easier. It`s great having everything we need close to home.

With bright interiors, generous living space and a fantastic garden, this well presented home offers the perfect balance of comfort and practicality for everyday family life.

The lounge is a wonderfully welcoming space, with a large front facing window allowing natural light to flood the room. Soft neutral decor and comfortable carpeting create a relaxing atmosphere, while the generous proportions provide plenty of room for family seating. Double doors connect the lounge to the dining kitchen, offering the flexibility to enjoy two separate rooms or open them up when entertaining.

The kitchen and dining area is another fantastic feature of this home. Warm wood effect cabinetry, contrasting worktops and a stylish tiled splashback provide plenty of character, while the practical layout offers excellent storage and preparation space. There`s ample room for a family dining table, and French doors open directly onto the rear garden, making this a brilliant space for everything from everyday meals to gatherings with friends and family.

Upstairs, the main bedroom is a comfortable double with neutral decor, fitted carpeting and plenty of room for bedroom furniture, creating a peaceful space to unwind.

The second bedroom is another well proportioned room, currently arranged as a child`s bedroom, with space for a bed, storage and additional furniture. Bedroom three offers excellent flexibility and would make a lovely nursery, child`s bedroom or dedicated home office, depending on your needs.

The family bathroom is finished with contemporary grey tiling and features a bath with shower over, a wash hand basin and WC, providing a fresh and practical space for daily routines.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden is a real highlight. A generous lawn provides plenty of space for children to play, while separate patio areas offer different spots to relax throughout the day. The owners particularly love how the garden enjoys sunshine from sunrise on the lower patio through to sunset on the upper patio, making it an ideal setting for outdoor dining and summer evenings.

To the front, the property benefits from a driveway providing off street parking, alongside a lawned garden that adds to its kerb appeal.

Glen Shee Crescent is situated in Chapelhall, a popular residential village on the outskirts of Airdrie, offering a lovely balance of peaceful surroundings and everyday convenience. The village provides a range of local shops, primary schools, healthcare facilities and community amenities, while nearby Airdrie offers a wider selection of supermarkets, restaurants, leisure facilities and shopping.
