Description

Seven bedrooms. Three floors. And a garden that has hosted every family summer worth remembering.

Set on the leafy, peaceful edge of Hall Green, this extended semi-detached family home gives you something that is genuinely hard to find: room for everyone, with space to spare. There are six double bedrooms and a single across three floors, with an en-suite to bedroom two, a family bathroom and WCs on every level. Downstairs, a wide and light-filled hallway leads to a substantial living room, a bay-fronted dining room and a generous kitchen diner. Outside, a block paved drive takes several cars, and the mature rear garden is private, green and made for long summer days.

We asked them what made them buy it...

“We really loved the size and space of the property, and the wide hallway with that amazing amount of light. It was the size again, and the number of spacious rooms for my five kids, that made us choose it over everything else. The area is very green and peaceful, with lovely neighbours and a good community. It’s a really safe area. People go for walks in the evening. Shirley Park is great for the kids, Cannon Hill Park is ten minutes away and Hall Green Library is local. Aldi and B&M are a five minute walk, and Asda is five minutes in the car. For schools, there’s Olive School and Eden secondary school. The M42 is just up the road and the city centre isn’t far. Fox Hollies gym is down the road, there’s David Lloyd in Solihull, and there are lots of community centres dotted around.”

What about the house itself?

“We extended the top floor with an en-suite, and there’s side storage running throughout. The living room is where we spend most of our time. It has plenty of light all year round, and in winter it’s cosy evenings by the fire. Guests always comment on the fireplace and the inviting hallway. We see the sunrise from the back of the house, and the garden has been our summer retreat. The family love gardening, we have family get-togethers out there every summer, and there’s even room to practise our golf! We’ve had amazing snowball fights out there in winter too. There’s parking for three cars comfortably, a spacious shed, and we’ve put in new radiators and insulation. What will we miss most? The space, the sunlight, the homely feel, and the peace and tranquillity.”

Our agents say...

You feel the space the moment you step into that hallway. And it just keeps going. The living room is the heart of the house, with French doors opening straight onto the patio, so summer evenings spill outside without anyone having to think about it. The bay-fronted dining room is made for big Sunday lunches, the kitchen diner has counter space for a whole team of cooks, and the side utility keeps the washing well out of the way.

Upstairs, the bedrooms are properly generous. Bedroom two has its own en-suite and a big window over the garden, while bedroom five comes with built-in wardrobes, storage and skylights. Teenagers, grandparents, a home office, a guest room that’s actually a room. There is space for all of it.

The garden deserves its own visit. A paved patio for the table and chairs, a lawn with hedged and fenced boundaries, and an outbuilding that’s ready to become a home gym, a workshop or a cosy hideaway. And if you need even more, there’s scope to extend the kitchen and living room at the back, subject to the usual consents.

This is a home that has grown a big family and loved every minute of it. Large, growing or multi-generational families, this is the one you’ve been waiting for. Get in touch today and come and see it for yourself.
