Description
Arranged over split levels to make the most of its elevated outlook, the house has been thoughtfully designed to maximise natural light and capture the breathtaking coastal scenery. The principal reception space is a particularly striking feature: an expansive, triple-aspect kitchen, living and dining room where far-reaching views provide a stunning backdrop to everyday life and entertaining alike. The contemporary kitchen is fitted with a range of units. The bi-fold doors open from the dining area onto a substantial raised terrace balcony, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. From here, the ever-changing seascape, rolling countryside and nearby dunes can be enjoyed throughout the seasons. An adjoining sun room provides a further inviting space in which to relax, with its own bi-fold access to the balcony.
The accommodation is equally well suited to family life and hosting guests. A welcoming entrance hall, with wooden flooring and a generous storage cupboard, leads to three double bedrooms on the ground floor, two of which open directly onto the garden through French doors. A well-appointed family bathroom, separate WC and practical utility room add to the home's everyday convenience, while internal access to the double garage is a valuable additional benefit.
Stairs rise to a split-landing serving two further double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite facilities. The principal bedroom is particularly appealing, featuring built-in wardrobes and a separate walk-in dressing room, creating a comfortable and private retreat. There is also a separate WC on this floor serving the main upstairs living area.
Outside, the property occupies a good-sized plot, with the garden wrapping around the house to create a wonderful sense of space and seclusion. The south-facing gardens are exceptionally private and peaceful, with lawned areas offering ample room for family activities, relaxation and outdoor entertaining. A ground-floor patio terrace provides an ideal setting for al fresco dining, with the kitchen/principle first floor living area accessible via external steps. To the front, off-road parking and a double garage provide practical space for vehicles, beach equipment and storage, with further useful storage beneath the house.
The first floor terrace balcony is undoubtedly one of the property's defining features, offering an exceptional vantage point from which to savour the far-reaching views across the dunes, countryside and sea. Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee, gathering with family and friends or watching the sun change the colours of the coastline, this is a home designed to make the most of its remarkable setting.
Croyde is renowned for its beautiful sandy beach, celebrated surf, scenic coastal walks and vibrant village atmosphere. With the beach, South West Coast Path and local amenities all within walking distance, this property combines a wonderfully private position with easy access to everything that makes this corner of North Devon so special.
Offering five double bedrooms, generous and versatile accommodation, panoramic coastal views, private south-facing gardens, a double garage and off-road parking, this is a compelling opportunity to acquire a distinctive coastal home. Equally suited to permanent family living, an indulgent second home or a holiday letting investment, it presents an exceptional opportunity to enjoy the Croyde lifestyle in comfort and style.
