Description

Sellers Comments:

As first time home owners this has been the perfect house for us. We love the open, modern downstairs space and extension and the larger kitchen than you usually get in a 2-bed house. We sometimes work from home so have converted the office space separate from the house with WiFi and heating. We enjoy a lot of local walks and green spaces, but are close enough to Bicester centre and local amenities too including only a 20 minute walk to Bicester North train station.

Agents Comments:

Located on Cooper's Green in Bicester, this extended two-bedroom home offers considerably more living space than its original layout, with an impressive open-plan lounge/diner, a spacious fitted kitchen and a landscaped rear garden. With additional parking and convenient access to local amenities, the property is an excellent opportunity for first-time buyers and investors alike.

To the front, the property benefits from driveway parking for one vehicle, alongside further parking available to the side. An entrance porch provides access into the home, opening through to a spacious and well-presented kitchen. The front-aspect kitchen features cream cabinetry complemented by light-coloured worktops and a tiled splashback extending around the kitchen. There is an excellent amount of cupboard storage, alongside a breakfast bar providing a practical space for casual dining. Integrated appliances include a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and separate freezer, while a fitted extractor fan is positioned above the current freestanding double oven.

From the kitchen, the accommodation continues into the dining area, which features recessed spotlights and opens directly into the substantial single-storey rear extension. The extension has transformed the ground floor, creating a particularly generous lounge and dining space that can comfortably accommodate a variety of furniture arrangements. The open-plan design provides excellent flexibility for everyday living and entertaining, while a skylight window allows additional natural light into the room.

Across the rear of the extension, bi-fold doors open directly onto the garden, creating an excellent connection between the internal living space and the outside seating areas. The rear garden has been designed with low maintenance in mind, combining patio areas with artificial lawn. A change in level leads down to a further patio area, providing additional space for outdoor seating and entertaining.

At the rear of the garden is a garden studio. This space benefits from two uPVC windows, electricity, internal lighting, an electric heater, insulated walls and roof, and weatherproof exterior lighting. .

Moving upstairs, the staircase, landing and both bedrooms are carpeted, while the family bathroom benefits from hard flooring.

Bedroom One is a spacious front-facing double bedroom, featuring a substantial built-in wardrobe and recessed spotlights. A particularly useful addition is the adjoining shower room, finished with floor-to-ceiling tiling and comprising a shower enclosure, wash basin and extractor fan. Bedroom Two is a single bedroom overlooking the rear garden. This room also houses an airing cupboard containing the hot water tank, providing additional built-in storage. The family bathroom is finished with grey tiling, including half-height tiling to the main walls and full-height tiling around the bath. A chrome shower is fitted above the bath, alongside a wash basin, WC and useful built-in storage positioned between the sanitaryware.

Cooper's Green offers convenient access to a range of everyday amenities, including a Tesco Express and nearby primary and secondary schools. Buckingham Road provides a straightforward route towards Bicester town centre, while the nearby ring road offers convenient connections towards the M40. Bicester North railway station is also within easy reach, making the location appealing to buyers who regularly travel further afield.

With its substantial rear extension, generous open-plan living accommodation, well-equipped kitchen, and additional parking, this property offers an attractive combination of space, practicality and flexibility. An excellent choice for first-time buyers seeking a home with room to grow, as well as investors looking for a well-connected property in Bicester.
