Description
Overview
Whyn House is a delightful, 4-bedroom, detached, character, family cottage, extending to in-excess of 2,900 square feet over 2-storeys, including the double garage, benefiting from PLANNING PERMISSION IN PRINCIPLE for the development of a single infill dwelling on land forming part of the curtilage, therefore offering enormous development potential to a suitably astute future owner, and enjoying a wealth of original features throughout. Set peacefully on an impressive, substantial plot, behind an in-and-out driveway, in the heart of this ever-popular North Warwickshire village, this well-proportioned residence further benefits from vacant possession and no upward chain.
Vendor Comments
We moved into Petit Fleur (Whyn House), 15 Cottage Lane, in 2006, drawn by its character and lovely setting. Living there, we came to appreciate the peace of the open countryside and how little traffic passed our door.
The village had a couple of pubs, a strong sense of community and lovely neighbours. We had our two children while living there, and with the playing fields and park next door, it was a wonderful place to raise a young family. The opening of nearby Coleshill Parkway station also made travelling into Birmingham easy.
We lived there until 2013, then retained the property and rented it to the same family for over ten years. For anyone seeking the quiet of village life and open countryside, while staying within easy reach of the city, it is an ideal location.
