If you're looking for your first home, or simply somewhere with a bit more space, 56 Barent Walk could be worth a look.
The accommodation is arranged over two floors, with a separate lounge to the front and a kitchen/diner to the rear. The lounge is a comfortable space with wood-effect flooring and neutral decoration, while the kitchen has plenty of cupboard and worktop space, along with room for a dining table.
Upstairs is where the room sizes really stand out. There are two genuinely generous bedrooms, rather than the smaller rooms you might expect from a property of this style. Both offer plenty of flexibility depending on how you want to use the space. There's also a family bathroom and useful built-in storage.
Outside, the garden is a particularly good size, predominantly laid to lawn and offering plenty of potential for someone who enjoys gardening or wants to create their own outdoor space.
Something else worth mentioning is the parking. The original rear garden has been adapted to provide off-road parking, accessed from Morrell Road, which is a practical addition to the property.
The house itself is well presented and comfortable as it stands, so there's no need to take on a big renovation before moving in. Equally, there's room to make changes over time and really make it your own.
Situated in Top Valley, the property has a park directly opposite and plenty of everyday amenities close by. Southglade Leisure Centre is nearby, with a doctors' surgery and library also within approximately five minutes' walk. Local shops, schools and transport links are within easy reach, with connections towards Arnold and Nottingham city centre.
A home with good-sized rooms, useful outside space and its own parking — with plenty of opportunity to make it yours.
5 Things We Love About Our Home
The size of the bedrooms
We've always loved how spacious both bedrooms are. There's plenty of room for everything without either room feeling cramped.
Having our own parking
Being able to park off the road at the back of the house is really convenient, especially when coming home with shopping.
The big garden
We love having so much outdoor space at the front of the house. There's plenty of room to enjoy it and lots of potential to make it your own.
The separate living spaces
It's lovely having a lounge where we can relax and a separate kitchen with enough room to sit down and eat together.
How much space the house offers
It's always felt bigger than you'd expect from a two-bedroom house, with good-sized rooms and useful storage throughout.
