We haven’t had much issues to be reported since moving in. But the two situations that we did have were both handled promptly and conveniently.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in High Wycombe right next to Eden Shopping Centre is extremely convenient. Everything is on your doorstep — Eden has all the major shops, supermarkets like Sainsbury's, restaurants, cafes and cinema within a 1-minute walk. Transport is excellent, the train station is about 12-15 minutes walk with fast trains to London Marylebone in under 30 minutes, and bus station is very close too. The Rye park and High Wycombe town centre are also nearby for walks and weekends. The area feels safe, clean and well-connected. We have never had any issues with anti-social behaviour. The only minor downside is that being so central, there can be a bit of traffic noise during peak hours and parking in town can be busy at weekends — but that's expected for a town centre location and does not really affect life inside Howard Court.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been excellent. Any problem or issue we have raised has been dealt with very quickly and professionally. Farah and Sophie from the admin team always respond immediately, keep us updated, and make sure things are followed through. Ryan from the maintenance team are fantastic — they attend promptly and fix issues properly, usually the same day. We have never had to chase anything. The team is proactive, helpful and genuinely cares about residents. The most responsive and helpful team we have experienced.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Honestly, very little — the tour before moving in was very thorough so we knew what to expect. If I had to say one thing, I wish I had known just how convenient it would be living so close to Eden Shopping Centre — you really don't need a car for daily shopping, everything is right on your doorstep. And also how helpful the on-site team would be. Farah, Sophie, Ryan and Joe make settling in so much easier than in any other building we have lived in. It’s been a smooth move from day one.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location of the building is superb, being a less than 10 minute walk to the major Brighton employers, having the laines on your doorstep, and the station just up the road.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management is great at responding to any issues I brought up, and was often able to get a solution within less than a week.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Turnover of some flats in the building is quite high as there are a number of students who rent for a year or so. This does mean sometimes your neighbors change around July-September. If you plan on moving in during that time, it is good to be aware that it may be busy.
Manager's response5Hi Jess, Thank you so much for leaving us a review! It is hard to beat having the North Laines at your front door and the train station just 5 minutes away (if you are running up the hill for the train anyway, maybe longer if you aren't in a hurry). I agree it's always sad to say goodbye to familiar faces but hopefully it gives the opportunity to meet someone new as well. Best wishes,

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location offers a great range of amenities within walking distance, including numerous cafés, restaurants, and bars. There are also two Chinese supermarkets and a Tesco nearby, making everyday shopping very convenient. The area benefits from excellent transport links, with regular bus services and train connections providing easy access across the city and beyond. Overall, everything you need is right on your doorstep.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team is highly responsive and professional, always replying to emails promptly and resolving any issues efficiently. A special thank you to Kary for consistently providing quick responses and excellent support, and to Aaliyah for always being so helpful with parcel collections and greeting. Their dedication and friendly approach have made living here a great experience.
