Located on the upper reaches of the River Arun in the heart of the Weald, the market town of Horsham in West Sussex has grown up around the Carfax, an open square and meeting point of four roads.
It's a town which has expanded steadily over the years, especially since the building of an inner and outer town bypass.

At the south end of the central area of the Causeway sits St Mary's parish church, the town's oldest building. Originally Norman, it has been rebuilt and restored over the years.
