The majority of sales in Cheshire during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £270,331. Detached properties sold for an average of £493,941, with terraced properties fetching £204,716.

Cheshire, with an overall average price of £308,972 was more expensive than nearby Merseyside (£213,627), Greater Manchester (£258,203) and Lancashire (£200,472). The most expensive area within Cheshire was Mere (£1,327,600) and the cheapest was Runcorn (£170,663).

Overall sold prices in Cheshire over the last year were 4% down on the previous year and similar to the 2021 level of £303,508.
