The majority of sales in Cheshire during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £265,897. Detached properties sold for an average of £494,621, with terraced properties fetching £203,996.

Cheshire, with an overall average price of £307,595 was more expensive than nearby Merseyside (£215,705), Greater Manchester (£255,826) and Lancashire (£200,874). The most expensive area within Cheshire was Mere (£1,376,250) and the cheapest was Runcorn (£173,003).

Overall sold prices in Cheshire over the last year were 4% down on the previous year and similar to the 2021 level of £303,433.
