Often the scary bit but it really doesn't have to be. The trick here is quite simple, talk to an independent broker who you feel comfortable with and that you feel is looking after you. Not always as easy as it should be we know. We only have one company and broker we recommend because we feel this way about him, and many of our clients have come back to us saying how great they found his help.
SOLICITORS...make the right decision
It can be simple, if you have a good solicitor that you have used before we would simply recommend using them again. If you haven't then there is nothing wrong with taking advice from your estate agent but make sure they are advising you for the right reason as some may be driven by the size of the referral fee they receive rather than the quality of the solicitor. Also it is sensible to ask the question are they 'no sale, no fee'
