      Founded in 1983, Edward Mellor began life with a single office in Reddish, Stockport, run by Edward and his wife June. We remain the oldest family-run estate agents in the area.

      Mark has over 22 years' experience in Estate Agency, 12 of which have been with Edward Mellor. Having grown up in Marple and now living there for the past 10 years, Mark brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of the local market to ensure you receive the most accurate valuation of your home. In his role as Area Valuer, Mark is responsible for settling any anxieties you may have about entering the property market and also ensuring the smooth process of listing your property with Edward Mellor. When he's not out and about conducting valuations, you can find Mark on the rugby field or training for the numerous triathlons he competes in.

      Heather Renshaw, Mortgage Adviser
      Heather has been with Edward Mellor since 2013 originally joining the business as a sales negotiator before progressing to property consultant and then sales manager. Following a successful two years as a sales manager including achieving branch of the year, Heather trained and qualified to become a mortgage and protection advisor. In her role as mortgage and protection advisor, she is responsible for providing the best advice and guidance in regards to her client's mortgage and protection needs to ensure they have as an efficient and stress less experience as possible. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with family and friends and is currently learning to play the violin.

      Kim Nowell, Sales & Lettings Negotiator
      Kim is the latest addition to the Edward Mellor Marple team. Prior to joining, she worked at Thomas Cook and so brings with her a wealth of experience in customer service. In her role as Sales Negotiator, Kim is responsible for administration, helping clients discover their perfect home and ensure a smooth selling process. Outside of work, she loves playing Airsoft, visiting different countries and is also an avid car enthusiast.

      Laura Sugden, Sales & Lettings Negotiator
      Laura has been with Edward Mellor since March 2019. In this time she has sold many houses in the area and has even experienced the journey herself having bought her first property last year. Her role is solely to focus on buyers, to introduce them to your property, take her buyers on viewings, negotiate the sale, finalise the offer plus the administration that comes with buying and selling. As Laura is a very chatty, social butterfly she is always floating around Mellor sports club and the Marple Bridge area in her spare time.

      Jackie has been with Edward Mellor since 2012, although originally started with the company in 1996. She initially started as a weekend Sales Negotiator at the Woodley Office and then moved on to become a full-time Sales Negotiator, finally transferring to the Vendor Management team. Outside of work, Jackie loves to visit her family in Canada and explore the great outdoors.

      Dionne has been with Edward Mellor since 2015. Since joining the company she has been a sales negotiator at both our Marple and Stalybridge branches and is now enjoying her role as a sales progressor based at our head office. In her role, she is responsible for ensuring that the sale goes as swiftly and smoothly as possible for both the buyer and seller through liaising with solicitors. Dionne also has two cats called Molly Mop and Louby Lou, who she loves very much and treats them as if they were her children.
